Went in as a walk in customer- staff member told us there were no rooms available. He Told us to go on line to check in. There were lots of rooms available. Was disappointed in his lack of help and enthusiasm to help a customer.

- lobby and hallways smelled very nice. Not the room though - tiny bathroom with a sliding door that's difficult to pull out of the wall if it's pushed in all the way, which also doesn't lock or even necessarily close - sink was clogged - no tissues were provided - bottom of shower was dirty upon entry, piece of a bar of soap was left right next to the drain - bed comforter was on backwards, making the tag stick in my face in the middle of the night - smaller tv - high incident holding fee ($100 hold for one night priced at $134). Was also not notified of this until check-in and I didn't have enough money on any of my cards, and they wouldn't accept my mom's card

This is an older style of hotel with pods of rooms in different buildings. It is right on Meridian by I84, but the freeway/street noise was not that noticeable. The room was okay for cleanliness, but it had a distinctly noticeable odor that was bearable but not that pleasant. This was an adjoining room with a door separating someone else's room, and the noise level between rooms was noticeable. With just a few improvements, this would be a much better stay. The staff was, however, very nice, helpful, and pleasant, and this always makes a difference in the overall impression.

Older facility, needs some TLC i.e shower so worn and weird repair, toilet ran constantly. Afternoon staff was great on Friday and Saturday morning staff couldn’t be bothered. Breakfast was pretty good.
