The stay left so much to be desired upon arrival to our room the carpet was dirty and a sock from previous guest left on floor. Bin in bathroom full with rotten tissue and rubbish. Went to use the kettle and it had what looked like either food or vomit dried on the inside of it. Went for evening meal on the first night seated promptly and given started then sat and watched the rest of the guests have there starter plates cleared and served there mains upon asking one member of staff where our mains were we were told she was going to find out to then come back and say the chef is trying to get them done, strange that other guests who arrived later were served there mains same choice as us but got there’s straight away we waited a further 10 minutes watching others been served to ask another member of staff where our mains were she went and came back and said she doesn’t know when we will get our food as it’s busy, whether this was personal preference to other guests or because we were seated at the back it was not on as we had a child who had not been fed whilst everyone else had been served. We ended up leaving as the service was shocking

Food was lovely, such good value for money. Staff were friendly and worked really hard to make your stay enjoyable. Decor was dated, and the lift was not working, but it gave us chance to get our extra steps in. It is a tired building but it is in a fantastic location, with sea views and beds were comfy and clean. What more can you ask from these very old buildings in Blackpool? There was great evening entertainment to enjoy whilst the children played safely in the games room. Would definitely stay again.

Although there were a few technical problems due to a problem with the electricity, all the staff were helpful & accommodating and were able to deal with all the difficulties that arose with cheerfulness & humour during our three night stay and we would certainly re visit this hotel again. It was well situated for the tram and beach, so easy to get into town. Plus easy to reach from the train station when we arrived. We particularly enjoyed the indoor pool, which was welcoming in a pleasant environment. The bar and restaurant were clean and well-organised and the reception was always well-manned with friendly staff, always ready to answer questions to make our short stay more enjoyable. A really good, holiday break.

Booked last minute, Called up to check all was ok with the pool as stayed at other places and pool was closed so had a very disapointed little girl. Arrived and found out pool was closed. Only reason we booked this hotel. Also neber stayed at the hotel before so though we woudl be told where everything was and was literally given the key and told the room was just up the stairs. Went to the toilet in the missle of the night and toilet paper ran out luckily had my own but very inconvenient.

Been to Blackpool frequently so know what to expect from cheaper hotels. Booked this hotel for £75 for 3 people for 2 nights so knew it was never going to be spectacular. Room itself was basic and a lot of fixtures and fittings were broken and didn’t work but room was clean and comfortable the hotel itself is very tired and worn but in general is clean and staff are great. For us when in Blackpool we tend to be busy and o my use the hotel for somewhere to sleep and therefore are in the hotel a very limited time. In my opinion, people booking this hotel should be aware this isn’t the hotel for you if you’re looking to spend a great deal of time in the hotel. However if you’re just needing a cheap comfy room for the night it does the job. We would definitely book again, the pool was a huge bonus

Absolutely disgusting. Paid £160 for 2 nights & didn’t even stay in it. Absolutely no lights on at all so had to walk around with my phone torch on going too our rooms, floors were absolutely vile my partner took his shoes off and his socks were covered in dirty hair, went to use the toilet before going down to reception and there was wee in the toilet! We booked a sea view and paid extra for this and was looking out at bins! Went to the reception to ask to be put in the room we booked and they told us the room wasn’t free even though we booked it! Receptionist filled the paperwork in to refund us as we ended up having to find other accommodation which was £300 due to it been on the day we booked it as we refused to even sleep in that hotel, she told us we would get the refund on the Monday 13th the latest and it is now Tuesday and had 0 communication with this hotel. Wouldn’t even let a pet stay here it’s absolutely disgusting and needs a full update and sorting out. Absolutely VILE.

When we booked in we was told half the building had no electricity, the room looked clean but there was dust on sockets skirting boards, no hot water the cold tap was warmer than the hot water, there was a screw loose near the base of the toilet, there was no signal for the tv or wifi, the bar wasnt working no drinks served, we decided to go out there was no lighting on the corridor exiting the building, the photo of the building outside was misleading as there was paint coming off the name plate in chunks, arguing couple on the corridor which lasted ages, had tobpay for parking £6 on their forecourt, the beer when my partber got eventually at 10.30pm tasted strange, we tried to sleep, the room was cold heating didnt go on till morning, we vacated the hotel at 7am very disappointed. Most of the other people got refunds or free drinks didnt get to their rooms till gone 11pm after waiting from 6pm, there was noʻ food served when we was in the building.

After a 3 room change we were finally given a half decent 4th room, which was sort of nice until night time came and the hotel staff decided at 11pm at night to clean the pool and spa making so much noise, upon complaining was told not much we can do about it and to put up with it! G/M promised me a phone call from management but that never happened!

DO NOT STAY HERE ITS A SCAM

I booked and paid on hotels.com. I arrived and the guy said i had to pay again. It was late and he was on his own and said he was new and the system said i still had to pay despite me already paying. As it was nearly 12 at night i didn’t know what to do. He said if i just pay now and bring it up with them tomorrow i’d be able to get a refund. When i explained it to them the next day the manager wasnt there and theysaid he would call me. He called me later that day saying he was going to issue me a refund that could take up to 5 days. On the 25th i checked (15 days after my stay) no refund had appeared. I called up and explained. I got put on hold for over an hour and i had stuff to do so i had to call back at a later time. I called back over 10 times, no answer, i called back the next day over 10 times at different times no answer and the same thing the next day. As i have no refund receipt i cannot get the bank to do anything. They are ignoring multiple calls and emails. Its a scam, even the photos apart from the outside look nothing like the room. They are dirty and dated.
