Great value. Good location. Helpful staff. However, unfortunately the sign has been removed from the top of the building in the picture. Makes it harder to identify at night if coming from the subway / easy airport express. Why did they remove the cool and useful sign?

地下鉄の駅まで歩いて10分強、荷物が多かったのにホテルでタクシーも呼べなかったのが点数低い理由です。

The hotel is clean but old with decoration past its best but it was comfortable and the air conditioning, WiFi and bathroom facilities were good. The bed was very comfortable and the linen was changed regularly. There is a Hot Pot restaurant and a licensed restaurant on the ground floor, both of which are reasonable value.

Brief Review of Royal Palace Hotel, Beijing

I stayed at the hotel as it was close to my work. It is an older hotel but is comfortable and the room and bathroom facilities are of a reasonable standard. The TV is of normal hotel standard but there is a good computer link (not WiFi). The hotel was warm with good air conditioning and the staff were quite helpful. There is a good licensed restaurant within the hotel and acceptable breakfast facilities. One drawback is that some rooms have no windows.

Ingen transport fra hotellet

Dette Hotel er efter Hotellets egen opfattelse et Hotel for Kinesere, ok til prisen og heller ikke mere, men der kan ikke bestilles Taxi eller anden transport til hotellet, da tilkørsel til hotellet er forbudt. Der tales ikke engelsk på hotellet, der er i forbindelse med hotellet en sjov tysk restaurant med øl fra det ældste bryggeri i Tyskland. Men højst overraskende at et hotel med en tre stjernet klassifikation ikke kan bestille transport til deres gæster.
