Right off the highway lies the oasis of the days Inn Barie. Feeling like a frosty night at the town but the cost of living got you down, no need to frown! We have you covered here at the days inn. Within a 22.35 minute walk to downtown steps away with food abound! Full tummy of Baries best food off to enjoy some night life! Alas home to rest but only a 15$ cab ride to arrive home to rest! No worries of the morning aches there is a free breakfast!! A beyond pleasant experience one lest to forget! Come to days inn Barrie see for your self there’s a world around the corner just reach on the shelf! Jeff B.

The property states it has been recently renovated. The doors and bathrooms are in terrible condition, no elevator, staff are unfriendly and the furniture in the main lobby is plastic and uncomfortable.

Furniture was in rough condition (table legs were chipped), trim on the walls in the bathroom was peeling off, had an elongated toilet seat on a standard sized toilet, walls had patch work on it. Shower curtains were dirty and stained, room was overall not cleaned , water was pooring out of the AC. Will not be returning

I love the free breakfast. The pool and hot tub were amazing! This hotel has microwave and refrigerator in the room The room is very big and clean which is nice. I would definitely come back to this hotel

DO NOT STAY HERE! Where do I start? First thing we saw was the police patrolling the parking lot. Then we went up to our room. The smell was enough to knock us off our feet, to the point where my husband refused to even walk in. It smelled of cat urine covered up by cleaning chemicals. We moved a new room. The plumbing sucked! One use the toilet and it got plugged up. The MAIN issue here was that the hardware for the deadbolt was hanging off the wall, like this door was recently kicked in. We notified the front desk and they said “they would take a note of it”. The kids wanted to go to the pool so we headed down. The pool is unlocked - anyone can go in!! Luckily we got chatting with some locals who warned us about how unsafe the hotel was. They said there was a gunpoint arrest on the 2nd floor earlier that afternoon. They said so many crimes occur here on a regular basis. We packed up our kids and left. I contacted Expedia, and they are not able to give me a refund. EXPEDIA: This was my first time using Expedia. I will not use again. PLEASE STOP SELLING THIS HOTEL! On top of it all, the hotel was very poorly maintained. Sticky substance on bathroom floor, blood on wall in stairwell, chipped paint, the list goes on, our son slipped on wet floor in lobby. Dresser wouldn’t stay shut…. The list goes on. I want a refund!
