The stay was okay. Not much options at breakfast, so kids got bored of same thing everyday. Room given to 4 of us was pretty small, hotel could have done a bit better knowing I had 3 teenagers with me, it was too cramped. Although, staff were friendly and atmosphere was quiet and pleasant. It’s good if you are on a budget with a family. I have had better stays with Holiday Inn in UK and other country with my kids …so seems a bit of a disappointment to my kids. Station is around 12/13 mins walk away. Easy bus routes as well. Superstore is right next to the hotel which is convenient if you need snacks and drinks or some food. Restaurant next door too. Uber eats comes in handy. Swimming pool would be a great addition if they can get that in. I won’t discourage people to go there , but I believe Hôtel has potential to improve .

Stayed here with family. Staff were excellent, polite and super helpful. Lobby of property was as any hotel. Floors hand a stink on them. Rooms smelled the same. TV in my room would not work. Was advised wifi code would be in room on a little stand, and it wasn’t. Lastly, the advertised pull out sofa bed was full of grime, dirt and hair. Wouldn’t stay here again. Perhaps I got what I paid for.

I was told there was air conditioning in the room but it sounded like a fan. It was noisy and the only reason why we could sleep was because we were tired from all day activities. I didn't complain on the first night because i was booked only for 2 nights. when we came from back to the hotel on our first night from coming back from city center the window was wide opened which we didn't do. Now if there was an air condition in this room why would someone ( I would imagine the housekeeping but I could be wrong) would leave the window open. It was damp/humid in the room after midnight and I wasn't going to go downstairs to let them know. There was no thermostat to adjust the room temperature. There was a piece of some kind of tape covering this piece that could only appeared like a thermostat. I mentioned about it on my check out and I was told, "why didn't you tell us?" The Day staff was wonderful. She told us where to go to dine and she drew us a map where the train station"s location. It was a good 15 mins walked to the train station. A little tiring by the end of the day. walk all day. The laundromat was 10 mins walk from the hotel but was very convenient. Our experience on this hotel was completely different from the first holiday inn express at Lisbon, Portugal.

The reception staff were excellent. My room was on the quieter side of the road, so there was no outside noise; however, the air-conditioning fan was very loud, and I barely slept because of it. Additionally, both the room and hallway had an unpleasant odor, possibly from smoking. Breakfast was average for a Holiday Inn Express—not as good as at other hotels, but I didn’t expect more given the brand. Parking was a bit tight, but that’s common in Europe, so it wasn’t a major issue.

The hotel was clean. The staff were pleasant and friendly. I also liked that the metro station is about a five minute walk. There is a restaurant and supermarket like literally two minutes away.
