It's a dump in a great location
Good things: Nice street in Gracia. Close to Diagonal metro. I enjoyed the small balcony. You feel a part of life in Gracia. Kitchen is well outfitted with utensils. The bed is surprisingly comfortable. The shower is also surprisingly good. BUT the place is a dump, in serious need of some updating. Really needs a new paint job. Aside from the one green walk nicely painted in the photo, from the walls I could have been in Egypt or Turkey aka 1990. Trash can under the sink (after the maid left from cleaning) was disgusting. Bedside lamp bulb was burned out. Asked for a replacement (which I got very quickly thanks). The electric kettle provided stopped working after one use. The stove was not hooked up (either that or it's impossible to use) so was not usable. The lock for the key is on it's last legs. Several times I thought I'd be locked out. I was given only 1 towel and no top sheet for the bed when I arrived. Had to ask for them. Vivian is a doll and could not be nicer. But I found the other staff I dealt with to be very unfriendly and seem bothered by an presence of a real person that would take them away from their computer screen. And the maid pounded on the door 15 minutes before my official move out time and was extremely rude about my vacating immediately. Lastly, it took about 12 emails (not an exaggeration) to sort out the real price of the apartment. I was given conflicting, confusing and incomplete information. So this is apartment is not easy.

You get what you pay for
Pretty average stay. Started out badly, as our train from Paris was 7 hours late into Barcelona, and Louis angrily left us to wait for him outside of the apartment at 1:30 in the morning, as though we did this on purpose...Also we reported that the pull out bed in the living room was broken, and they never repaired it. They did, however, allow us to use their printer from their office, which was very convenient.

Barcelona adventure
The apartment is located in an old Spanish neighborhood but it is just two blocks away from the main ave. Although the place is a bit small, it is clean , comfortable and accesible to trains and buses. Needs an upgrade on their linens and pillows.

Der Aufenthalt in der Wohnung Santa Tecla 3 hat uns sehr gut getan. Die Wohnung ist funktional eingerichtet und liegt vor allem in einer Gegend, die besonders lebendig ist. Man kann alle Sehenswürdigkeiten gut erreichen, sich aber nach langen Besichtigungstouren hervorragend erholen.
