Great stay down to exceptional staff

Location: I enjoyed the Lovina Hotels tour to Banjar hot springs and Buddhist Temple. Our guide Putu Lanang Muliarta was friendly, informative and accommodating
I stayed at The Lovina Bali for 2 nights while traveling in Bali alone. The Lovina has many good features, location, facilities, spacious and comfortable rooms. But its best feature is undoubtedly the superb staff. From check in to,check out whether it be reception, restaurant, pool side, room attendants or tour bookings the staff are warm, friendly, efficient and helpful. I was particularly impressed by the trainee program and the way these young men and women engaged with customers and provided top service.

First time in north Bali

Pros: Cleanliness of rooms, friendliness of staff willingness of staff to please.
Cons: Food could be of a higher standard.
Location: Great restaurants nearby , the dolphins of course....fun fishing with the locals.
Great hotel..still looks like new....great staff.../nothing too much trouble.

Pros: Can't think of anything
Cons: Supposed to be 'Bali' - no atmosphere. I paid for 4 nights - walked out after one.
Location: Uninspiring
Facilities: Basic; Value: Could be better; Service: Sufficient; Cleanliness: Clean; Rooms were just like hotel rooms in Australia - I expected better for the price

Cons: Not much happening at Lovina.

Renovations + Closures

In accordance with local regulations, all visitors must remain within the property during Seclusion Day (Nyepi)/Hindu New Year for a 24-hour period (starting at 6 AM). Seclusion Day typically falls in March or April (dates subject to change each year). Check-in and check-out will not be possible on that date. Ngurah Rai Airport (Bali International Airport) is also closed on Seclusion Day.
