We stayed 5 nights. We got towel service once and the day our sheets were to be changed, we left at 8:45 am and returned at 3:45 pm our room was not cleaned at all. There was a dog on our floor one night barking for 30 min around midnight. The bar tender was not friendly unless you spoke Spanish.

Over all we really enjoyed the room we booked! When we initially checked in we were told our room was not ready and we would be more than welcome to have another room that was ready but it would be a downgrade from what we booked. We booked the same me bedroom corner suite for our family of 4 to be comfortable during our stay so we did not want to downgrade we were told we would have to wait for the room to be cleaned and we would be notified by text when the room was ready for us. About two hours later we received the text so we headed back from the mall and checked in. When we checked into the room we loved it but there was a weird smell in the room so I called down for some air freshener and housekeeping brought up some Lysol so I sprayed that mixed with some of my perfume and we went on with the night! The room was nice and spacious the view was really nice we will be back.

Hyatt House Austin/Downtown Review I recently stayed at the Hyatt House Austin/Downtown, and overall, it was a solid experience that I’d rate 4 out of 5 stars. Located at 901 Neches Street, the hotel is perfectly positioned in the heart of Austin’s vibrant Red River Cultural District, just a short walk from Sixth Street, the Texas State Capitol, and the Austin Convention Center. This prime location makes it an excellent choice for both leisure and business travelers looking to explore the city’s nightlife, dining, and cultural attractions. The hotel’s residential-style rooms are a standout feature. My one-bedroom suite was spacious, clean, and equipped with a full kitchen, including a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker, which was perfect for a longer stay. The modern decor, comfortable bed, and separate living area with a sofa-sleeper added a homey feel. However, light sleepers should note that some guests have reported noise from nearby bars or street traffic, though I didn’t find it too disruptive during my stay. The complimentary breakfast was a highlight, offering a hot buffet with chef-inspired omelets, cage-free eggs, all-natural bacon, and Greek yogurt parfaits. The variety ensured there was something for everyone, and the quality exceeded typical hotel breakfasts. The on-site H Bar was a nice touch for evening cocktails and small bites

We had to a few hours until our room was ready. The staff person said we wojld get a text/call when the room would be ready. We didnt get it. We also didnt get a formal introduction about the amenities of the hotel. Other than that the room was great!

Beautiful cozy hotel

I was really blown away with Hotel. The room was spacious, modern & clean. The amenities were nice and the hotel its self just had a comforting vibe!

Great Place in downtown Austin!

First time saying at the Hyatt House and happy tobsay it was a good experience. Only Valet service available to park your car but not bad overall. There is a parking lot across the street but disnt want to leave our car there all weekend. Really close to 6th Street for all the Bar action and lota of restaurants within walking distance. Enjoyed the breakfast amd the room itself was clean and comfortable. Staff were super friendly and helpful! Will stay at the Hyatt House once again.

The location is great, walkable but not too close as 6th street can get really load and rowdy. The bed was comfy and the rooms were spacious. But the AC was pretty load and 76° is also quite warm for Texas. They indeed have the smallest pool in Austin. Breakfast buffet looked great and the cocktails at the bar were good. Valet worked fine too.
