The rooms are clean and comfortable. If you’re expecting a huge hotel with lobby and exercise facilities this is not the hotel for you. The hotel is small 6 to 10 rooms. The staff is excellent. I suggest you book a room with the balcony. The area is perfect for first timers. Walking distance to museums and Acropolis. The area is safe with many choices for shopping and dining. The experience in Plaka for me and my wife was exceptionable. We enjoyed it and we will be doing it again.

This hotel is located on one of the very busiest and loudest streets in Plaka. There is no elevator. There is an outdoor cinema aross the street. Its nice to watch a free movie from the balcony - but the loud sondtrack is very annoying and doesnt stop until 11 PM. This would be a great budget hotel, but it charges 4 star prices. Not cool.

Staff was exceptional! Location is very good, but we were surprised that you could not drive up to the hotel, so lugging bags was not easy and getting a location for a pick up to the airport was stressful until the gentleman at the hotel did a wonderful job figuring it out for us. The neighborhood is lively ( also loud) so it can be noisy at night.

Staff excellent… so helpful with everything and room services daily. Room overlooking Akropolis so view was amazing!!! Breakfast was fantastic! Centrally located to EVERYTHING and easily walkable!!! Best restaurant in Athens right outside the door… Trattoria. I would definitely stay again!!!

Upon booking our stay, I had requested with Palladian Home that they would arrange for our transportation by taxi back to the Athens Int'l airport the morning of our departure at 6 am for a 9:20 am flight. Had I not asked the front desk clerk the afternoon before our checkout date to reconfirm our transportation, I would've never known about a taxi strike that was due to start the next morning at 6 am! The strike had been announced in the evening 2 days before which was the day we checked in. Had I not taken the initiative to reconfirm, it would've been a disaster! They were able to work it out and scrambled to book a taxi for us at 5 am the next morning before the official start of the strike at 6 am. I was thankful for that, however, I was completely appauled that no one with the hotel had bothered to alert us to the impending strike and it's impact to our airport return schedule ahead of time! That is unacceptable, and it would've led to us having to take the subway (entrance was many blocks away) and almost certainly would've caused us to miss our flight. It indicates that the staff at this hotel has no regard for and really doesn't care about their guests! I would've considered staying there again if I'm ever visiting Athens, because of it's excellent location, but not after that fiasco! Hotel desk staff gets a WORSE THAN POOR rating from me for this!

Excellent location and great decor and feel. Rooms were small but well set up and quiet for such a busy area. Bedding was not great. Mattress was mediocre. Foam pillows were too big and the sheets were rough - almost abrasive. Theses are easy things to fix and require for the price paid.

This is an amazing property located in an amazing location! The immediate area is quaint and walkable with lots of food and shopping options. Safe after dark. Highly recommend. Probably made the difference in how we would rate/explain our Athens visit! To be in the middle of the Plaka neighborhood was a amazing!

We wanted to love this property but unfortunately it missed the mark due to the number of loud guests who staff did not quiet during late hours of the night. Do not choose the room with an adjoining room (2 bedrooms with city view), you will hear every thing because the room is next to the main entrance and as aforementioned, the incompetent staff does nothing to quiet the rowdy guests who enter the property during sleeping hours. I actually had to come out one night asking the other guests to keep it down while the front desk guy just sat there and said nothing. Ridiculous. Book elsewhere, you will thank me.
