Lodge is nicely furnished but dark and dated. My room smelled of cigars and woodsmoke (?)which means someone broke the rules but housekeeping should have communicated this to the front desk and they could have kept the room out of the rental cycle and treated the smell. Some rolled towels were obviously left in the room from previous guests but someone had wiped dirty hands on them. Ugh.

Exceptional property, fantastic stay!

I can’t say enough great things about The Lodge!! Gorgeous property, meticulously cared for. I was warmly greeted upon check in, which meant a lot as I was in town for a funeral. The staff here clearly love what they do, and it shows. I LOVED hearing “welcome home” each day when I returned. I don’t think I have ever felt this cared for and valued at any hotel I have ever stayed at. My King suite was stunning, cozy, with such a comfortable bed. I’m in the Asheville area 5-6 times a year, and I will only be staying at The Lodge going forward.

I've stayed here 3 times in the last year and haven't had a bad experience yet. It's conveniently next to a few restaurants and downtown Hendersonville. It's also really close to mrmaple.com open houses.
