It was so so. Nothing spectacular. No workout room, no coffee in the room, staff was unknowledgeable about shops around the downtown area. It was clean and quiet. Probably would find another place if we go back to Asheville. Thank you!

A great location with excellent design and historical elements. I didn’t rate higher because the room was very small and overall relative value was not good. It was more than double other options. It was a birthday weekend so I wasn’t price conscious but wouldn’t do it again.

We had the unfortunate honor of being 6th floor guests of the hotel when the elevator lost service. We only stayed overnight (in town for Bonnie Raitt) so our trek up and down the stairs six or seven times was inconvenient but not a deal breaker. The staff was apologetic and very helpful in trying to make the best of an inconvenient situation. We would stay there again - really like the accommodations, convenience, walk ability of the area, and downtown in general.

We loved our stay at this hotel. Very cool building with historic parts to it. Our king size bed room was on the smaller side but totally doable for us just staying overnight. The staff was so welcoming and friendly!

8 story Hotel with one elevator, which was broken when we went to dinner at 6:00pm. Still broken at 9:45. Was offered a few chocolates. Staying on the 6th Floor which required a 6 flight walk. Otherwise hotel was very nice with great staff.

Flat Iron exceeded in friendly, competent staff! Staff was sincere, helpful and pleasant. Property was unique, rooms were pristine and comfortable. The upstairs balconies and sitting areas were fun morning and afternoon and evening. Great views of Asheville. The Speak Easy was quaint, quiet and a great hidden gem for anyone traveling to the area. Great location! Great hotel!

Excellent time staying at the Flat Iron. All the staff were very friendly and went above and beyond, from offering us free band-aids for my wife's foot blisters (we walked and explored A LOT,) to providing a free post card and postage stamp to mail out. Unique character-filled hotel but so clean, spacious and functional also. Roof-top bar has an excellent view of the city and the mountains. Location is PERFECT for walking in Asheville - We easily parked at Wall Street garage ($15 per day) and walked everywhere straight from the hotel. Easy walk to tons of restaurants, shopping, galleries and a historic movie theater. Really enjoyed our time, would love to come back!

Beautiful property! Excellent customer service! Only drawback was the food in Luminosa. We were sat on time, ordered a bottle of champagne, no apps, then martinis. Then we ordered dinner, pork chops. An hour and a half later they arrived, cold. I had left the table earlier. Food was taken to go and we threw it out. The manager Sarah did comp us, but still dissatisfied.

The hotel is downtown and walkable to shops. There is a restaurant and speakeasy bar on site. The food at the onsite restaurant was very good. Staff are incredibly helpful and courteous. On site Valet Thursday yo Sunday. Very clean and comfortable! Enjoyed our stay!
