First off the rental company said my hotel was is the worse area of Anchorage. Second it’s a motel with not much between you and the folks outside. The night I stayed I heard screaming and gun shots. The room I can only say was awful.

We picked this place because they had a shuttle and the rental car would be closed when we got there-unfortunatelly our flights got moved up and we didnt have a car for about 18 hours. The place is not modern, but don't let that deter you-it was very clean, we felt safe. It is in a rundown area-but to be honest most of anchorage seems run down. The breakfast was great (especially without a vehicle-it was eggs, potatoes, sausage, muffins, cereal, etc.). The shuttle driver was very nice and took us to a place for dinner and shopping and back to get our car when it was ready.

Staff was very nice and the shuttle guy was super nice and helpful. The hotel/motel was older and the area is noisy. The guests above us were very loud which made it hard to sleep. Request an upper room.

Nothing fancy but it gets the job done. Just a short distance from the airport, railroad depot, and downtown. They have a very convenient shuttle that runs 24/7 during the summer. This alone makes it worth the stay if you are in Anchorage. The staff members were very nice and knowledgeable about the local area.

The room worked for a place to get our gear in order for an early flight. The plastic sheets on the bed were a bit weird and the toilet valve leaked. All in all not too bad.

The rooms are basic but very clean. The property is conveniently located right next to Merrill Field if you are flying out of there. There’s a decent buffet style breakfast in the mornings from 6-9. The best part of the hotel is the shuttle. It’s free, and will pick you up from the airport or take you into downtown Anchorage, the train station, Merrill Field, etc. it’s very convenient for people who just need a night or two in Anchorage before or after a trip elsewhere in Alaska.

We had an amazing stay at this Merrill Field hotel in Anchorage! The entire staff was incredibly friendly and professional, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. A special shout-out to Anthony—thank you for your kindness, sense of humor, and all the shuttle rides (even though we probably drove you a little crazy!). You truly made our visit memorable, and we appreciate everything you did for us. We definitely left our mark all the way from Fresno, CA—hope you don’t forget us anytime soon! This Hotel offered shuttles to and from Airport, Downtown and also provides Breakfast! If ever we are in Anchorage again, we will definitely be staying there!
