It was marketed as a charming little coastal hotel and it was anything but. Dark, dingy, no elevator, a million stairs, had to walk a mile to get to the room.

We booked a suite to get more space. The bathtub was stained and disgusting. The hotel staff knew it. They downgraded us as there was no other room in same category according to them and we would get a 30% discount on the room rate...all lies. Hotel is old. Carpet is dirty and lousy. Better go somewhere else for the price...dont stay here.

A good, clean, well run hotel. Includes a decent restaurant. However, there's two important "other" things to consider. This place has an extensive second floor - but, no elevator! Also, even by Alaska standards, it is overpriced.

Clean good service plenty of parking anchorage has a drug problem a clean up needs to be done wood chippers set up on every corner and the drug users thrown in head first would be a good start.

We had a comfortable stay. Only issue was there was no elevators so we had to carry all our luggage up the stairs. The restaurant breakfast was good. Beds were comfy. Staff was nice and provided transportation from airport and to our location down the street to get picked up by bus cruise line. Overall I give 4 stars!

Pretty Basic but Close to Lake Hood Seaplane Base

Nothing that stands out but the room was pretty quiet considering it is very close to the Anchorage International Airport. We booked this hotel because it is close to Lake Hood, where the float planes take off and land. Unfortunately, did not see too many seaplanes in late May.
