The Non smoking rooms smelled of cigarettes, staff was not friendly. There was no restaurant or dinner options at the property. Room had water leaks and mold. Pool had white floaty stuff and hair clumps all over, very dirty and nasty. Not worth 600$ a night

I always enjoy staying at Hilton Hotels but this time I was very disappointed. We arrived late at night and we asked for a restaurant and the front desk staff gave us information about a restaurant which closes every day at 8 o'clock nothing else, We have to use the free towels to clean the bathroom in the middle of the night because the toilet floated, and we did not receive any assistance from the staff

Positive experience

I recently enjoyed a great stay at Homewood Suites, where I was truly impressed by the spotless rooms, good breakfast, and the exceptionally friendly staff. The cleanliness of the accommodations created a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, while the breakfast provided a wonderful start to my day with a diverse selection of tasty options. The staff played a significant role in making my experience memorable. Both Adhunik and Harsh were incredibly helpful and approachable, always ready to assist with any questions or requests I had. Their warm demeanor added a personal touch to my stay that I genuinely appreciated. During our visit, we faced a minor issue when an upset customer, who had just arrived from a redeye flight, complained to the general manager about our dogs barking for two hours, which was not accurate. It’s important to note that our dogs are service animals and are trained not to bark excessively. Given that we had been in the same room for three weeks without any other complaints regarding our dogs, I believe the general manager should have taken the time to investigate the matter more thoroughly. One suggestion I would offer is to reconsider the pricing policy for guests who opt for extended stays. Maintaining the same rates for those who need to extend their stay, rather than increasing them, would enhance the experience for long-term guests and encourage them to return in the future. Overall, I highly recommend Homewood Suites

At first I was going to give a really bad review because our room was not cleaned properly (hair in the bathtub, used towels hanging over shower curtain), and it was a LONG way from the lobby to the room. Our room was as also a complete Internet dead zone. Also, there is a sign in the bathroom that says housekeeping will be every other day. When I questioned why they didn't show up, I was told you have to request housekeeping. Should have said that on check in. Then Stella really helped us by changing our room, which was in much better shape, and getting us much closer to the lobby. Stella was amazing. Most of the other staff were friendly and Ali was helpful too. Probably won't stay there again, but I appreciate the staff who helped.

Large apartment style room with a full kitchen, couch, chair, king bed and large shower. Lots of amenities and space for comfort. Very clean. Hotel is in convenient spot in Anchorage with restaurants and coffee nearby. Staff was friendly and lobby was cozy and attractive.

My stay at Homewood Suites

This is a very nice hotel with a great breakfast spread and convenient options in their own snack bar. The front has always been accommodating for us and it's close to some really good places to eat. For military members, it's about a 10 minute drive to JBER. Wifi can be kind of meh sometimes, but I was on the fourth floor in a corner; quite literally the worst spot for wifi.

Never again-two nights of pain

The beds were incredibly uncomfortable. Old cheap spring mattress that felt like laying on a bed of nails. The couch was only a slight improvement. Every piece of furniture was extremely wobbly and needed to be handled with caution. It’s unfortunate that the hotel has their bookings go through a 3rd party. My dates got changed, somehow, so I would’ve had to pay a $220 fee just to fix the dates. Additionally, hotel.com had horrible photos, for the less expensive rooms, which I feel is a ploy to get people to book the more expensive rooms as those were the only ones with actual photos of the suites.

My husband and I stayed one night. We don’t eat pork and are watching our carbs. Breakfast consisted of pulled pork or greasy corned beef hash. No egg options but it was ok for most people. Staff were very nice and accommodating switching a room was easily done when I requested.

Horrible customer service

I called 12 hours before arriving to cancel a staycation do to a sick child. Apparently my trip wasn’t cancelled then, i couldn’t claim my hotel insurance to receive my money back because i kept my sick child home instead of going to the hotel. When hotels.col reached out to the hotel for a reimbursement they were told no multiple times. Don’t think residents should be treated that way, or anyone who did the right thing and kept a sick child home. Especially when I purchased cancellation insurance. Then, the insurance policy couldn’t reimburse because the hotel refused to cancel my stay and marked me as a no show because it takes 24-72 hrs for them to inform you if you qualify for refund. So, never cancelled my stay and I’m out $370 for trying to do a fun staycation with a pool with my children. Horrible customer service
