Worth the $$

Nice room on 6th floor, windows were cobwebbed up high need better attention to details. Shower was roomy and good water pressure, liked double sink. Bed was sooo comfortable and enjoyed pop up tv at foot of bed, also enjoyed ability to stream from my phone ;)….pool was so nice, including jets and water features. 15 minute walk to cruise ship, bike rentals avail, half hour walk to dt AMS and a ton of restaurants. Highly recommend, free buffet breakfast was awesome!!!

Beautiful and stunning hotel. I totally enjoyed everything. Only found it strange that swim suit is not allowed in the sauna and steam room. As a British I was a little uncomfortable sitting next to naked people in the sauna, maybe that is Amsterdam style ;)

Very good, but missing some service

Beautiful hotel, with an excellent location and facilities. The room has a fabulous setup, and the balcony is a treat. The included breakfast is fantastic. Juat a few things they could work on... The beds and pillows were far too soft, so woke up with a bad neck, though this could be personal preference. Ordering room service, the dessert didn't come woth the cream and couldnt contact the restaurant on the ohone to resolve. The woman in the bakery was quite rude and insisted I previously spoke in Dutch tp her ans was confusing her - i only have "tourist" Dutch level so can confirm i didn't. The spa was very confusing - I spent a long time trying ti figure out where to get a towel as there was nobody there, and when he did appear wasn't helpful at all.
