The power was out .there was a tree fallen in the road so we could hardly drive in. No power and a noce hig hotel like that cant even get a generator to keep the place with heat and minimal lights. That was awful. Andntotally unsafe. So cold at night i was afraid my onfant was going to get seriously ill and sick. Thhat olace was horrible . No body was at the front desk at 8 am the next day even. It was pathetic. The whole rest of the town had power by then and they couldnt even go at 8am to turn on the power for everyone when i was told from the gas station the power had come back at 3 am

The hotel is huge and beautiful. Rooms are clean. The people were very friendly and helpful. We did have couple of plug ins that didn't work , so we couldn't do coffee or use bathroom wall plug. We had a fire place in our room. Real wood. Very different but gives you a step back in time feel that I love. Our bed was extremely firm and I questioned if it was a queen. Just seems on smaller side. But that might be just me. Had a balcony with some views of the oceans. Was able to watch sunset. Close to beach and town so best of both worlds there. Our room was near the elevator, not overly noisy but not a room you want. People do stand and talk right out of your room at times all hours so if your a light sleeper this room would not work for you.

This place was awesome. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would go back. It’s an older property and has experienced effects from the ocean weather, but it was so clean and the staff were so kind. I got to check in early and I really enjoyed the special treat of the deer on the grounds each morning.

Crab and clam cleaning station was nice to have. Also th ground room with a sliding door outside for our dog was great. Grint desk made it easy and enjoyable

Safe parking area. We did not swim or take advantage of what Chateau offered. We did enjoy the ocean though as was sunny and we could hear it each day. We would stay again next year, after Labor Day.

Property is very dated. Paid for an ocean view room and the extra I paid was not worth the very limited view we had. Out of 5 different hotels we stayed in on our trip last week this was by far the worst. Red Roof SeaTac was way better as well as Ocean Star Inn in Sequim. The shower felt dirty but the room did have hot water.
