"Pleasant enough but nothing special."
Disappointing that only small cups provided, not mugs. Odd bathroom set up, shower & toilet together, sink outside in the main area. Noisy late at night as near the dining area.

"Good experience"
On arrival was greeted by a male staff member who was friendly enough, but did not seemed too interested in helping when asked about the directions or offering any other help. Room was pleasant, well presented, very comfort bed. Unfortunately was a bad smell in bathroom. Spoke to lady at reception, who unlike her co worker was extremely helpful and had the this addressed immediately. Overall experience was good and would stay again.

"The best motel I have stayed in for a long time"
Our stay at this motel exceeded our expectations The presentation was immaculate both inside and out. Not only handy to the RSL right next door it was also close to the central business district. The room(s) including the bathroom were large light and airy with a larger than average spa bath. A great view over the racecourse and on a relatively quiet street of an evening.

"Good but old."
The room immaculate but the door a bit drafty as it was freezing in Wagga. But it had good air con and that compensated. We ordered a room with two beds- as I was staying with my daughter who was returning to CSU. Anyhow the large queen bed was very comfortable and just as well! the single bed was unsleeplable as it was on a lean (fine for a child but after driving all day I needed a good sleep) so we both had to share queen. I left feedback but no one has called me back about it.

    Pocket Guide: Wagga Wagga

In the heart of the spectacular Riverina region of New South Wales sits Wagga Wagga, a charming city with an unforgettable name. Surrounded by natural beauty and home to fascinating cultural heritage, the city is ideal for holidaymakers as it's loaded with attractions and history. Take a look at our Wagga Wagga accommodation deals and snap up a bargain today.

Wagga Wagga roughly translates as 'the place of many crows' and is the name given by the local Wiradjuri tribe. Situated next to the Mirumbidgee River, one of the highlights of the area is the Wiradjuri walking trek which follows the river around the city. Stretching over 30 kilometres, the walk will take you past some fantastic scenery and there are plenty of exit points along the way allowing you to get back into town. As a reward for all that walking why not treat yourself to some wine tasting at the Charles Sturt University Winery. Here the latest technology is used and tested to help develop wine making techniques and you can try the results for yourself. Home-made cheeses and olive oil are also available to enjoy.

From your accommodation in Wagga Wagga head to the Muddi Boutique Markets, famous for selling 100% handmade products from local people. Clothes, toys, jewellery, candles and much more can all be bought at the market. The city also boasts its fair share of museums including the Riverina Museum which dates back to 1881 and features a small botanical garden. Visit Wagga Wagga Art Gallery and admire the varied displays which include work from local artists and a national art glass collection.
