We were surprised at how quiet the room was considering we were on a busy road. It was very clean and the bed was so comfortable. We loved our stay there and would definitely stay again.

"Very quiet and comfortable"
We stayed one night and would willingly do so again. The staff were unfailingly friendly and efficient, the room, though smallish, was very clean and the bed comfortable. It was surprisingly quiet given the large open space at the front of the hotel. Dinner and breakfast were of a high standard.

"Great Location"
Stayed here for a family party down the road from the motel. Found location 1 street off Main Street perfect. Had a window in room which overlooked a corridor & more rooms( very weird).

"Hi - It was great. We stayed 2 nights."
maybe the rooms could be a little more sound proofed as we had a crying child on the 2nd night which delayed my friend from sleeping.

"Good Motel close to everything"
We were very happy with our stay and would definately go back again. Not the flashest motel but it had everything you needed and the proprieters where very helpful and friendly. It was an easy walk to the shops and restaurants, and a nice walk along the river to the art gallery.

"Nice B&B. Close to Wagga CBD."
Overall I enjoyed my stay however I did find there was quite a bit of noise from what I think was the buildings air conditioning system as well as the pub next door. The place is great if you're not looking to get a good nights sleep. The staff were friendly and very accommodating and the building is full of character. I'd certainly stay again but possibly take some ear plugs.

Wagga Wagga roughly translates as 'the place of many crows' and is the name given by the local Wiradjuri tribe. Situated next to the Mirumbidgee River, one of the highlights of the area is the Wiradjuri walking trek which follows the river around the city. Stretching over 30 kilometres, the walk will take you past some fantastic scenery and there are plenty of exit points along the way allowing you to get back into town. As a reward for all that walking why not treat yourself to some wine tasting at the Charles Sturt University Winery. Here the latest technology is used and tested to help develop wine making techniques and you can try the results for yourself. Home-made cheeses and olive oil are also available to enjoy.

From your accommodation in Wagga Wagga head to the Muddi Boutique Markets, famous for selling 100% handmade products from local people. Clothes, toys, jewellery, candles and much more can all be bought at the market. The city also boasts its fair share of museums including the Riverina Museum which dates back to 1881 and features a small botanical garden.
