"Love the location of the hotel"
Great location for my family to visit as so central and easy to walk to South Brisbane. Rooms are always at a high standard, and the appliances are of a high standard. Comfy bed and spacious room.

"Convenient and cost effective for South Brisbane"
The hotel was cost effective, but could have been better value. My shower made an awful squeal and there was very little room for the toiletries in the bathroom, plus quite a bit of noise from people moving around in the corridor.

"close to shops and south side activities"
Great location to explore the south side promenade, with the simming area, chinese garden long boganvillia achway extending for about a km providing beautiful walking areas with cafes and restaurants close by. A great night market within 2 minutes walk and a convenience store also within minutes. Also a great location for people attending events at the Convention/Exhibition centre.

"Great serviced apartments near convention centre"
Great location - just a street away from the Brisbane convention Centre and nearby Southbank markets and precinct! Lovely staff too (esp. Emma) who took extra effort in making sure I got the necessary information for late check-in when the main office was closed for the day. Very spacious rooms which are clean, tidy and has all the necessary amenities like cooking, washing and laundry facilities, plus wifi access to make guests feel right at home even on a trip away from home. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for accommodation in Brisbane.

"Value for Money and Good location"
We booked a very cheap room for a Friday night for a standard studio room which had us expecting the worst. We were pleasantly surprised. The room was small but tidy and with a small balcony. It did overlook the freeway but it wasn't too noisy at night. The location is excellent - an easy and very pleasant 10 min walk along the waterfront to Southbank with all the restaurants and markets. And a 15 min walk across the bridge to the CBD. Also free parking!!! We also arranged a late check out (11am) at no extra cost, although we did receive a very rude phone call at 10am telling us we were late and should have checked out already. When we explained, she never apologised for her rudeness.

"Secure Accom very close to West End Eateries"
Staff were able to let us check in early which was great. There was a slight problem with a curtain having come loose prior to our arrival and we were short a few dishes. The staff were terrific with getting everything sorted out and were really friendly.

"Big Room With Internet"
Little challenging to find the right entrance to get to reception, but once over this and in the room, I found it spacious with good amenities. Always good to have free internet so could work for the afternoon. Happy to recommend.

Love arts and culture? Then you’ll love South Brisbane, just across the river from the Brisbane CBD. This bustling area is a popular destination for locals and tourists alike, so come and see what makes this area so special with our range of South Brisbane accommodation.

South Brisbane is one of the city’s oldest suburbs, with European settlements dating back as far as the mid-19th century. The area was predominantly industrial until the 1980s when it underwent a huge transformation as the city prepared to host the prestigious World Expo 88. Since then, the area has continued to be developed into Brisbane’s cultural entertainment precinct, with top attractions such as the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC), Queensland Art Gallery, Queensland Museum, Science Centre and Gallery of Modern Art all located in South Bank alone.

A trip to South Brisbane isn’t complete without a walk along the river, where you can see spectacular views of the Brisbane CBD and the Treasury Casino, which is lit up in blue and pink every evening. Pack a picnic and make use of the barbecue facilities in the riverside parklands, or take a seat at a nice al fresco bistro (or pub) and enjoy the fresh air. Beat the heat at the man-made beach, complete with sand, palm trees and lifeguards! If you’re visiting on the weekend, check out the South Bank Lifestyle Market for an exciting range of crafts, homewares, designer fashion and delicious nibbles. South Brisbane really shines in September as the main venue for the Brisbane Festival, an annual event featuring live performances, awe-inspiring light shows and art displays.

The South Brisbane area also includes suburbs such as Woolloongabba, home to The Gabba, which hosts Brisbane’s top sporting events; West End, a bohemian community great for shopping and dining; and Kangaroo Point, an area popular for rock climbing, kayaking and other activities.

South Brisbane is just a quick walk from the CBD and is also a great starting point for your Brisbane adventure. Whether you want to catch a train, bus or even rent a bike, the area offers plenty of transportation options around the region and beyond. Sound like fun? Then book your South Brisbane hotel today!
