"Good room, great location, would stay again"
I had a mostly fantastic experience. Unfortunately, the staff member who checked me in was not very pleasant nor helpful. All other staff members were extremely helpful and friendly. Luckily, it seemed like the gruff staff member is the exception rather than the rule. Other than my initial impression from the reception desk, i was very pleased with my stay and would definitely stay here again.

"Close to Crown"
The hotel was nice, with friendly staff. The unfortunate thing about our room, was that it was one of the first to go past after the elevators. So we were woken up by very loud guests talking outside our room at 2am! We also could hear the elevator (bing). We found the walls paper thin and could hear the guy in the room next to us shaving (tapping his razor against the sink to clean), running water and flushing the toilet at 6.30am.

"Great Accommodation, central but quiet location"
I really enjoyed my stay at the Sebel Docklands. A great location. Surprisingly it was very quiet yet had easy access to the heart of the city. It had a very safe feel. The one bedroom apartment was very comfortable with pleasing decor and very well appointed. The kitchen was well equipped. A stones throw walk gave all kinds of gourmet options which was really great. I found the reception staff very helpful every time I engaged them, usually for directions and recommendations. I would definitely stay again and not hesitate to recommend Sebel Docklands.

"comfort but inconvenience carpark entrant"
The floor was very dirty, particularly in the kitchen area. The carpark entrant is very inconvenient. Cannot use the sauna, do not understand why cannot put water in the burner. It is not hot enough. I stayed total of 8days. Run out of shampoo, coffee, washing powder etc... after 4 days. Should top up these items every 3-4 days.

"Great place to stay overnight."
Eight of us stayed in two 2 bedroom apartments. As we had all travelled to Melbourne by train from the country, the Hotel was in an ideal position; a short walk from the station and trams close by to take us to the theatre. We particularly enjoyed gathering in the downstairs lounge, having a chat and a light lunch. We all enjoyed our entire experience at the Batman on Collins. We would most definitely stay there again.

    Pocket Guide: Port Melbourne

A sunny bayside suburb, Port Melbourne delivers sleek modern architecture next to restored workers' cottages and grand hotels and pubs. Find a Port Melbourne hotel and enjoy your stay in one of Melbourne's best locales.

The palm-lined path that follows the foreshore is one of the trendiest areas of town. As you pound the pavement, don't forget to look up at the architectural wonders that people call houses, as well as towering apartment blocks offering uninterrupted views over Port Phillip Bay. Enjoy a hot latte in one of the chic Beach Street cafes, or put on your Sunday best and spend an afternoon sipping cocktails in style.

Bay Street is the premier destination for shopping. With no end to the swanky boutiques and high end fashion you can easily spend half a day browsing the different collections. The MARS Art Space is a nice detour once you have had your fill of window shopping. Spend an hour or two here and see why its reputation as one of Melbourne's most diverse and exciting art spaces is well deserved. Finish your day with a lovingly made craft or premium beer at The Graham, The Local or the Railway Club Hotel, and take your choice of any of the restaurants along the water for dinner.

The Spirit of Tasmania ferry calls at 3 Station Pier, another great spot to sit and people watch on the waterfront. Kids love the beach just across the road. Wide plains of sand and shallow water set the scene for a relaxing and fun afternoon in the water. It's almost a tradition to watch the sunset while you eat hot fish and chips, soak in the atmosphere and take the kids back to your hotel when they are utterly exhausted.

Port Melbourne is a fantastic holiday destination, whether you are a solo traveller or are bringing the kids along. Packed with great food, shopping and culture, all that's left is to book your Port Melbourne accommodation to start your adventure!
