Without requiring it I was given a disabled room with low bathroom sink etc. this caused me a sore lower back all week. The bed was excruciating being so low to the floor and constantly noisy. I raised these points with reception and I was asked to email the hotel with my comments. We requested rooms near or adjoining. Whilst the room I was given had an adjoining door I was not provided an adjoining room. Initially we were told we were getting the room directly across the hallway. However when we went to retrieve the 2nd room key the receptionist asked us to wait 5 minutes and changed our 2nd room to a room much further away. Each day we arrived at different times for breakfast. We found (all but one day) the breakfast needing refilled. I spent more time trying to get staffs attention to request orange be refilled or not be coffee machine needed attention than I did eating breakfast. Only on our last day after eating did we find pancakes (my daughter asked for each day) placed in the lower restaurant/breakfast area. Breakfast wasn’t impressive and was very very busy. I specifically sourced a hotel with a pool and Spa in the centre of London. There was several to choose from. Unfortunately having checked in we were unable to avail of any Spa treatments as there no Spa in use. There is no sauna in use. The pool is provided by booking only, the pool bookings only facilitate 15 people per 45 minute booking. The pool was fully booked morning and evenings.
