Nice hotel but some improvements to be had
Hotel was clean and staff were really friendly. Issues experienced where that none of the beside lamps nor usb sockets where working. Towels were hung up to use again but were replaced. A can of water which wasn’t ours was left in the bathroom and bath looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned as had grimy marks around the sides. Would also say that side panels are to narrow which meant bathroom floor became wet and slippy due to water splashing when showering. Went to bar one evening and was told to take a seat and we would be served. Waited for around 15 mins with nobody coming near so went to bar and ordered drinks then took back to table. Upon checking bill I had been charged a service charge so I returned to the bar to discuss this but as I had paid by card they couldn’t refund me?? In fairness a member of management did come and apologise and provided us with some complimentary peanuts so they made good of the situation professionally and efficiently which was good. Morning breakfast was really good with plenty of choices available. Even though I have not given high marks for everything I would stay again but feel there are areas to be addressed.

No close to a tube station during the week but the buses are easy to navigate. Shower it a little weird as much of the water gets out since the glass doesn’t extend all the way. Breakfast is worth getting it included.

Liked welcome and easy check in. Room was clean and mostly quiet. Restaurant was pleasant with friendly staff and we enjoyed our food. Hotel decor is a little dated and worn but our needs were met for a short stay .
