April 7, 2018Bitterly disappointed. I paid additional money for an upgraded room in Melbourne, only to be given a base room. After investigating the hotel showed me the order from WOTIF had sent through a request for a base room only.
Now this could be a mistake, or it could be a way to get additional money out of people who aren’t going to complain when they get stuffed out of what they pay for.
Either way, at 1 o’clock in the morning when I check into somewhere, I want what I pay for.
I’m unimpressed, look forward to posting this issue on social media, and will Ben using a booking site unconnected to wotif in the future.
April 7, 2018Wotif sold me a weeks accommodation for a Hotel that does not exist. Wotif took payment and have not refunded me the money. In fact I spent over an hour trying to speak to someone from wotif yesterday and was told by their customer service agent he would sort it. Even rang from 0280662748 to say he would sort it. Needless to say it hasn’t been sorted – Wotif is still selling fraudulent accommodation, refusing to refund and next to impossible to contact. Overall a pretty fucked experience.

The place we booked ended up taking a deposit of 50% and the cancellation deadline did not match that of Wotif’s terms and conditions

I decided to change my accommodation location. I phoned wotif on the 1300 number and the staff member was extremely friendly and helpful in making the change for me.
