No confirming email as to the address and cost of the hotel.
The hotel did not have our booking when we arrived more than 24 hour later and the hotel initially turned us away hosing down with rain and a tight accommodation market. This might not be your fault entirely. Anyway I’m blaming you

There was a pop up ad saying to use a certain coupon code to get 8% off, so I copied it to my clipboard. I found the property I wanted (at a higher price to booking.com by the way) however the 8% would have made it cheaper. When I put in all the booking details there was no where to input the coupon code and when I press button to complete, it just charged my card the full amount with no option to get the discount so ended up paying more than I could have.
I spoke to the call centre (after 20 minutes of long distance call to Oz!) and the girl was very nice and helpful, but couldn’t do anything except cancel the booking with a fee. When I said this was not fair and wanted to escalate the matter, she ended up getting approval to offer me a $50 coupon to use on another occasion and said it would be on my account within 24 hours. That was 2 days ago and still no coupon : (

Booking system was fine but there were lots of hidden booking fees that weren’t anywhere until after I’d paid for my tickets…not a happy customer.
