Ok bedrooms and nice breakfast.

The hotel is a bit of a mixture. There are some very nice parts and the food available at breakfast was lovely, but the room looks tired and the bed was uncomfortable. Dissapointed with the lack of dairy free options at breakfast and no fruit available at breakfast either.

Relaxing 2 night stay

Booked the super king size bed but on arrival at reception the lady gave us keys to the four poster double bedroom which was lovely, we had booked the super king size bed so went back to reception to enquire if we had been given the wrong room, luckily a member of different staff was there and said which room the correct bed was in, so we swapped rooms, the super king size mattress is 2 mattresses put together which was disappointing and you could feel this through the sheet, otherwise the stay was lovely and peaceful , Breakfast the first morning was tasty but lacking fresh chopped fruit x

Overnight wedding stay

Booked a family room for myself and granddaughter’s nearly 3 and 2 years old. Was told they don’t provide cots, room was up 4 flights of stairs. Room was large and clean but could do with updating the decor and carpets.

Didn’t get what we paid for - Staff didn’t care!

Booked a family room which was advertised as a King sized bed with a single. We received the world’s most uncomfortable double bed in what can be best described as a sauna. The room was 25•C when we entered. Luckily there was air con which battled all night against the hotels heating. Brought it up with the member of staff on reception and he couldn’t have cared less, he stated we received a triple room which is what we paid for, I explained that the listing specifically stated a king sized bed (which is why we booked this specific room as my husband is tall) and he didn’t even respond. Breakfast was nice, but all the poached eggs were hard. Won’t ever stay here again.

Birthday treat weekend break

Fantastic weekend with wife for her birthday hotel was perfect clean and the food was amazing attention to detail with the best staff very friendly with a great atmosphere would definitely recommend to anyone looking for something special
