Poor and rude front desk. Rooms booked at main hotel given a tiny room and bath room at separate under tenovation building. Digital key is a nightmare. Yiu are atuck outside and running between main building and separate building for any needed help in bad weather or middle of night.

Great place to stay to be near the Zurich HB station - easy to get around, convenient and room is just what you need for a one or two night stay. Nothing fancy, not very big, but good location for good price.

Good convenient location by Zurich Hb and other attractions. I assume the “guest house” is smaller and less expensive than Fred’s main building. The room has everything that we need for shorter stay. Bath/toilet is in the smaller side, but quite functional (Japanese hotels are usually smaller). Access is using smart phone. I assume you can get real keycard if you don’t have smartphone with internet access. Room was cleaned, bed made, and new towels provide daily. Breakfast was in the main building which is only a few meters away. Many healthy choice for breakfast and my favourite is always the coffee machine. So we were quite satisfied with the stay in Zurich.

It’s a place to sleep. Very basic beds and a clean bathroom. Perfect for us in that that’s all we wanted. One block from the train station.

If you want to talk to staff, you need to go to the other building! Other than that, location was prime to the train station, lots of restaurants nearby, and felt quite safe! The room was a little tight, but for a short stay worked out perfectly for us.

Best location in Zurich - Fred Hotels

Location, location, location!!! Across street from main train station Zurich AND Bus Station where all tours begin! Plus a reasonable cafe with delicious dinners next to Starbucks on the corner. We took the train to & from the airport and walked to Fred Hotel. Several trams stop right there also. Most convenient stay ever anywhere!

The staff are quick to respond to questions, requests & assistance viq whatsapp. Breakfast is amazing! Guest house has not AC but there is a dyson fan available - we opened the windows & it cooled down quickly. The elevator is the smallest elevator I have seen- it is claustrophaubic, it only fits 3 people otherwise 1 person with luggages😊. Great location - minutes away from the train station & bus station👍👍 most of our tours starts from this station so we saved time. Overall, we had a comfortable stay at Fred Guest house. Thank you for all the assistance booking us a last minute Lindt Museum tour😊 we had a great time.
