For a three star hotel, it is very nice and the location is very convenient. Unfortunately, our room faces the hotel restaurant's outdoor dining, so it was very loud.

Nothing fancy about this place. Extremely functional, bizzarely practical room and hotel built around you. I have gone to ZH twenty years, most expensive properties to a standartized Marriott. This one I saw every time. Never stopped. Ideal experience. On my birthday too.

The noise and paper thin walls- we had to have our windows open as there is no air conditioning and there is a large outdoor patio area just outside our window and the worst part was being woken up at 5am to someone vacuuming the outdoor area hitting every table! Also having an uncomfortable bed against the wall unfortunately made the situation even worse being 2 people in the room. We would recommend this hotel

You could not ask for more old world charm than this hotel. It’s located on the corner of a cobblestone plaza with plenty of food options. The rooms were nice although a little small - but this was expected for a hotel in the old town. The breakfast options were good and the staff served any type of coffee or tea you’d like. A big perk was that they kept a complimentary drink fridge near the lobby with bottled waters. They gave a 50% discount to the Kunsthaus Museum of art - the buildings history involves an artist whose works can be seen around the hotel and the museum. The only drawbacks were that the A/C didn’t seem to cool as much as we hoped and leaving the window open let in a lot of smoke smell from the streets below (however, we found this to be the case all over the Swiss cities).

Great location walkable to all the old town sights. Lovely building and comfortable accommodation. We paid for the city view superior twin room but were put in a small twin with a tiny shower room overlooking a rear courtyard. When I questioned if we had been given the wrong room type I was told it was the superior city view twin in a quiet location. Not convinced! Still charged the upgraded room price. Breakfast is simple and basic bread cheese etc. overall happy with our stay but not convinced by the room pricing. I’d look elsewhere if staying in Zurich again

Spent 3 nights in a single bed room. Was plenty of space for just myself. Good views of the courtyard. Loved the free access to drinks, double glazed windows (a massive must given how loud it was with the windows open, continental breakfast range, friendly front desk, amazing location and not your cookie cutter American hotel making it a much nicer authentic stay. No mini fridge in the room but this must be a European thing as my next hotel also doesn’t have one. Low fuss stay.
