Gorgeous Cottage in the Bush

Pros: The peace and quiet, the privacy and the atmosphere, plus the lovely cottage.
We recently had a lovely stay at Wisteria Cottage and Cabins, staying at Daisy Cottage. The hosts are a family who really looked after us, providing fresh home cooked bread and a beautiful, quiet environment to stay.

Beautiful peaceful setting love every bit of it.

Pros: Peace and tranquility
Cons: A TV would be good
Location: lots to do and see. Wineries, cheese factory, art galleries, museum, Girraween National Forest bush walks and lots more.
Our hosts were happy responsive helpful and extremely nice people. Waking up to such a beautiful peaceful place was magic. The cottage was clean and very comfortable, great breakky basket supplied. Also happy to visit the chocolate shop at the front of the property when registering and when leaving and OK all the time :-)

Marvellous relaxing and peaceful

Pros: Environment, ambience, peace and solitude
Cons: Perhaps internet coverage and mobile phone
Location: The national park only minutes away cool and clear fresh water swimming holes and lots of interesting walks on safe designated paths.
Great space to unwind, close to swimming holes and walks, peaceful environment scenic views from the cabin, private and intimate.

Secluded getaway

Great location down the road from Giraween National Park, and a short drive from Ballandean and Stanthorpe. Gorgeous little cottage was peaceful and private, with plenty of wildlife around. Kitchenette and outdoor BBQ was perfect for self-catering, and the breakfast basket was generous with great variety, and the loaf of freshly baked bread was an added bonus! Our hosts were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We had a very restful and relaxing stay.

Winter weekend

Location: Close to wineries and national park.
Wonderfully comfortable cabin with wood fire and plenty of blankets. Very generous breakfast provisions. Owners could not do enough to make our short stay enjoyable not to mention the hot chocolate!

nice holiday

Pros: The cabin was gorgeous, the fresh bread was a treat, have a hot chocolate I think they fit a whole bar of chocolate into the cup.
Location: We went there for the walking and discovered some nice wineries and a brewery.
We only stayed two nights but the cabin was very nice. The deck looked over a cow pasture so we watched kangaroos and cows graze after walking in Girraween. Its close enough to Stanthorpe to go in for a meal or wind tasting. The owners are charming and friendly. We will stay there again in March probably.
