Location: edge of town, it was either a long walk into town or you would need to drive. I believed it was central. Free WiFi: non-existent. Their signal was so weak, we could not access anything. We noted other customers were also using their own mobile data. TV reception - weak again too. SUGGESTION: if they want u to do washing up, a small bucket would be helpful. POSITIVES - Owners and staff tried to be helpful & prompt. Rooms were large, clean & well presented. Location was quiet, yet still on main drag.

Thanks for your response Bruce. We appreciate your suggestions. We do offer detergent and a chux for our family rooms which include cutlery and crockery and just ask the food is rinsed off where possible. We do find the internet in regional Stanthorpe is not up to speed however we have noticed in can be better outside the rooms. We have had a number of technicians to see what is possible and have boosted the internet however we have been advised there is not much else we can do to improve the situation unfortunately. In saying that it is a beautiful region, lots of places to visit outdoors and we have maps, brochures, DVD's and games available as an alternative. I have to say in regards tot eh TV reception, this is the first time I have heard this in a long time and will check your room to see how this occurred. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and we hope to see you again in the future.

Loved the front garden, was nice to come out here and have my coffee and read a book. Well kept premises with nicely renovated rooms, plush towels and good quality toiletries ( the local hand made soap was a nice touch ).

You made our day, we are just finding ways to get more water to the garden with our tight water restrictions, but so glad to hear you enjoyed your time here!

Super small and very bland room...ordinary breakfast ...wouldn't recommend for more than a night!

Over priced

Pros: ????????
Cons: Get the basic fixed & understand that a customer is the most important part of the business, without customers you don't have a business!!!
Location: Left the area in discust
Over priced for the size of the room which was not clean ,had mold on the curtains, dirt & grime in the window rails , dirty carpet & no electric blankets although they were listed as part of the package. We woke on the first morning to no hot water & I was told by the owner that they could not do anything about the situation ,that was part & parcel of staying in the area & that he also had no hot water. When told that I had spoken with another customer & they had hot water he decided to check another room & the first one he checked had hot water no worries,my wife & I had to take all our cloths etc & shower in this room then return to the room we were in,we had already paid for two nights & the owner would not refund our second night & made no offer to allow us to move rooms,we stayed the second night under sufferance, guess what ,no hot water again the next morning . We spoke with other friends we had staying in the town on the same nights @ other motels & nobody else had any hot water issues. The most basic needs for a motel to supply are a bed & a shower, the best reference we could make to this motel is Faulty Towers.

Thanks for the glowing review Alan. Let me address some of the issues. With regard to the window sills etc I will take that up with Housekeeping as that is not the norm, so thanks for letting us know. The Electric blankets were all removed a week ago as there had been a safety recall on the brand we use and had to be returned. The Hot water... You stayed on the coldest weekend in two years, temps in town were as low as -9. Over the 10 Years we have been here we have had frozen pipes on 6 occassions before this weekend. When we spoke at 8am it was still -2. We had no hotwater in the house or the Restaurant kitchen until 9am . Some places in town had no water until 10am. The bloke next to you and the room we let you use have hot water running from inside our Laundry and it is the only one operating on those days. One of the local plumbers had 8 callouts that morning for broken and split pipes due to the extreme cold. All of our rooms are plumbed differently and we ensure the lagging is all in place , as I explained to you, prior to the cold season. However at those extremes is only takes a small gap to block a pipe. I apologised then and will do again, even give you a cuddle if you need one... As you booked through the Expedia network , I explained to you that you had to cancel through them. I told you you could call them and see what they could work out but you said " Now I know I will just have a shower tonight instead of the morning" Also you stayed here because your preferred destination in Warwick was booked out as was the whole of Stanthorpe and you were aware of that because you told me. If I could have moved you I would have but we were sold out Saturday night. We had two conversations that morning and after the second one I thought we had sorted things out but alas the keyboard warrior stikes back, Cheers Basil, Sybil, Manuel and Polly
