Dear Dwayne, Thanks for taking the time to write a review. We take great pride in ensuring our guests want for nothing at our cottages, and that all they need to bring is their clothes and food if they wish to cook. We look forward to welcoming you back. Diamondvale Cottages - a hidden treat

Pros: The bush location, the homestead history, the comfortable well-appointed cottage and the hospitality of the owners.
My wife and I stayed in the Forget-Me-Not cottage at Diamondvale Cottages on the first night of a driving holiday from Brisbane to Sydney. It's a pity we could not have stayed longer. The cottage was very clean, nicely decorated and included many useful appliances and thoughtful extras. The owners were very hospitable. One nice touch was that the fire in the wood-burning heater had been set and lit by the time we arrived in the late afternoon. We were very impressed with Diamondvale Cottages and would like to stay there again sometime.

Dear Arch, Thanks for taking the time to write such a great review. We love focussing on those little touches that our guests really appreciate, such as the fireplace, as you noted, so we ensure that the cottages are toasty warm on our chilly Winter days when guests arrive, and even after they have been out exploring during the day. We look forward to welcoming you back. All the best, Stephen, Taya and the Diamondvale Family

relaxation heaven

Pros: All of the above plus the cottage was very comfortable.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Location: 30 min bush walk along the creek to town via the Red Bridge. 5 mis by car. So many places to visit. Open Gardens, wineries, cafes, local deli produce,
So o o relaxing. Peaceful bush surrounds, wallabies, wallaroos grazing close by, wonderful hosts. So close to town as well. Ideal base to explore the region. Our 3rd stay.

Dear Maree, Thank you so much for taking the time to write a great review. As you noted, we are very blessed to have such a variety of things to see and do in the region, and the wine and food trails are amazing......not so amazing for our waistline though!! We too love the location and the abundance of wildlife that we have. Thank you for choosing to return to Diamondvale and we look forward to welcoming you again in the future. Best regards, Taya, Stephen and the Diamondvale family.

Anniversary getaway

Pros: Rustic charm and seclusion
Cons: The hosts have only been there a short time & have improvement programs in train to update cottage decor.
Location: Good location 5 minutes from Stanthorpe. Close to Granite belt and wineries
Great reception staff and hosts. Only thing wrong was the weather. We wanted a cool getaway to escape the hot weather. Bad timing because of heat wave. Lovely spot and the party hut is great for evening get together's. Last time we stayed at the lodge which accommodates larger groups. The cottages are fine for couples though, and we will go back, but in the winter. Highly recommend this property

Serene!!!

This is our new favourite retreat! Everything from the moment we arrived to the Anzac slice and note from Stephen and Taya upon our departure made this such a beautiful getaway. Diamondvale - you deserve so much more than 5 stars!

Sublime quiet location

Location: Location was just 5 minutes from town but a million miles from care. The wineries, breweries, food producers were spot on.
Our cottage was very well appointed with all our needs catered for. The location was stunning, and our hosts bent over backwards to help us with local information. We enjoyed sitting in front of the log file and waking up to the sounds of silence. From the shared bbq hut to freshly laid eggs, it was a delight to stay at Diamondvale.

Perfect getaway with everything provided

We had the cute "forget me not" cottage, well away from the town but still easy walking distance along the creek. The hosts were so helpful but not in your face, nothing is too much trouble. We will definitely return when the snow is on the ground and we can taste more wine around a roaring fire.
