There was no heat or WiFi in the room. We slept with our jackets on and were unable to use our phones (we are from the U.S). Tried to reach out to the host multiple times via email and Expedia messages and never received a response back. The room included a “cleaning” charge yet the room was dirty in itself. Shower had lime and rust and the shower head did not have proper water flow. We booked 2 nights, but left after one night. We just couldn’t stay there. We messaged the host again to say we’re leaving and still received no response. The host still has not responded to VRBO correspondence regarding a refund for the awful stay. I have not received an update from VRBO of whether they were able to connect with the host about compensation. I received a text and a message from the rental company saying they’d offer an extra night stay for a “promotional price”. What a joke. ABSOLUTELY NOT.
