It was an ok stay. Very basic and a bit tired looking but clean enough if you don’t inspect the stained mattress and marks on the walls. Plus points helpful staff and free parking and next to a service station with an express M&S, Macdonalds, Greggs etc. plenty of electric charging on site.

Hi all, I hope this is helpful. Overall, the room was satisfactory for my stay. Unfortunately, the weather was very hot, and while the room had a good fan, it was quite noisy — so it was a bit of a trade-off between heat and sound. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean, including the bathroom. However, the room itself felt a little tired and could benefit from some updating, such as fresh paint and attention to some worn or unfinished areas. In summary, it was suitable for a one-night work stopover, but I might feel differently if staying with family.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. After returning to our room after going out realised the window was broken, it wouldn't close and was lose at the top. Spoke to reception and found us another room. The second room window didn't open at all but at least didn't hear all the noise from outside.
