Perfect place to rest after activities
Winthrop is a cool place. An old west styled town with a ton of outdoor activities throughout the area. This property has an online check-in and coded room doors for those arriving late. The front desk is not manned 24/7 but there is plenty of signage if you need assistance of some kind. Nicole was amazing, welcoming and kind. She was a great representative of the local people. Everywhere we went the locals were genuinely kindhearted and quick to offer assistance or shoot the breeze. This is not a property you stay at for the amenities. There is no spa or 5 star restaurant. What they do have is very clean and neatly appointed rooms to enjoy after a day of hiking, shooting, rafting, skiing, biking, etc. It’s peaceful and quiet. We could hear the owls hooting and the whisper of the swoosh of their wings as the grabbed their dinner. We will happily return.

Cute but not ADA friendly.
Cute Inn. Not ADA friendly so we had to move after 1 night but it's a comfy place. I didnt like that the doors had an electronic lock without a secondary lock on the inside of the room like a deadbolt. Would not have felt safe staying there alone.

Microwave did not work nor did the heat lamps in the bathroom. It would also be helpful if you had any information in the room on places to eat, etc. in Winthrop as there was no information whatsoever in the room.

Our room was very comfortable, the location of the hotel was very convenient, the breakfast served was delicious and nutritional, and they have allowed us to bring our cat. Overall, i recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Winthrop.
