Every staff member we came across was very friendly! We were greeted every time we came in or left. The breakfasts were also hot, fresh, and delicious. When we arrived, a couple hours after check in time began, we had to wait about 10 minutes for our room to be finished being cleaned, which was not a big deal at all, either. The room, though, did not feel very clean. Each door on the way to our room was dirty and scuffed. The tub had some soap scum in the corner, and the corners of the bathroom had dirt and hair caked into them. The toilet tank appeared to have been broken and glued back together. The microwave had cheese melted to the plate and the spoons in the cupboard had food on them. There was also what appeared to be a booger on the closet door. Also, the water was very touch and go. It was luke warm in the morning and almost completely cold in the evening (definitely too cold to shower - we tried). In the middle of the night, though, it was scalding hot on the lowest setting. If the rooms and water were better, we would definitely return, because the staff was over the top friendly, but we probably will not stay at this location again.

The first night stay was wonderful however on night too we discovered that we had no hot water and it was isolated to just a few rooms and some issue that they knew about a new as a possibility, but did not factor into our stay. Ended up having to move at 8 o’clock at night to a different hotel because we would not have hot water for the rest of our stay which was two more nights. Incredibly inconvenient.!!!!

My stay here was Great. The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what I needed after a long road trip. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location made everything convenient. I would definitely stay again!

despite having a reservation and having driven 600 miles to get there, they DID NOT have a room for us. we needed sleep badly. they said the "system" over-booked the rooms. Their solution was to send us to a LA QUINTA hotel down the highway supposedly at their expense. I need whatever money Expedia charged and whatever deposit or charges the hotel took from me. I will never again stay at any Marriot hotel, and maybe, just maybe never use Expedia again. make it right and maybe I can come back to Expedia, but NEVER to Marriot.

I was charged twice, my credit card I held the room with & the card I paid with. This hotel was rated as excellent on Expedia- this hotel was absolutely gross. When we first got to the room, the floor was sticky, the table had something spilled all over & was not cleaned, there were crumbs on the couch. It was dirty, sink was broke, toilet leaked, only one remote worked, breakfast was gone by 9 am (Sunday should have been till 10) hot water didn’t last, this hotel needs a major deep clean, & remodel. When we went to report these issues, we were told that if we were “rewards members” the we could get some points. Pictures were taken, unreal that this place is charging the amount they are. I wouldn’t pay $25/ night to stay here. When checking out, we were not asked how our stay was, eye contact was not made, she just asked what our room number was. Do not recommend this hotel

We always love the east Wichita Townplace Suites. This particular trip the room seemed a little less clean than usual, maybe just stale air though. Breakfast was great as always. Staff was friendly and helpful. We did ask for a bathtub grip mat, and they were quick to accommodate. This is our go-to choice any time we go to Wichita.

The breakfast was fresh for what little they had. They serve from from 7-10am, and the eggs were gone by 7:30am which they never replenished. They kept bringing out servings of biscuits and sauage paddies, but never the eggs. There drink options were apple and orange juice, and 2 different infused waters. The infused waters were dilluted to plain water by the time we were done eating at 8am, and they never did anything about that either.
