The purpose for the stay was relaxing and skiing.
Regarding relaxing: The hotel did ok, but for example: “Can I get you any waters, towels, etc?” Ok, I’ll be back in 5. Good intentions/effort but how about just having the common items on a cart for a single knock at the door?
Regarding skiing: I spent 4-5 days trying to arrange rentals and lift tickets via the concierge by phone, email, and website. I even registered my credit card but nothing ever happened beyond long emails. So I did it myself and had 2 hiccups: 1) I suspect I paid extra as Epic Mountain Rentals visited the hotel for fitting etc vs the shop on site (same company though it seems…), 2) the lift ticket was restricted on the day of use so I had to spend 20 mins going from front of the lift line to the ticket window and fortunately it was not sold out… That would’ve been a mess. The concierge was helpful in otherwise but the service from offsite in advance was beyond useless.
On checkout between the onsite parking fees (practically no other option) and the resort fees over 4 nights, the cost was basically another night, it felt like I was overpaying
In summary the hotel was nice but our experience was less than I expected.
