Hotel needs Improvement, Great Staff

When visiting Wendover this hotel is my go to. Not sure if this is going to be the case moving fwd. Upon entering the hotel was greeted friendly & promptly. When we got the room we were very disappointed. The bed had not been cleaned, noting wiped down and the wallpaper was peeling on every wall. Had to wipe the phone just to make the call. The other things i cannot mention. When i brought it to the customer service desk they were very accommodating and moved our rooms without hassle. (the only reason why I may give it another try) The 2nd room was so much cleaner and we were VERY Happy. Suggestions: Wipe surfaces, Put clean bedding on, Supper glue the wallpaper, and just clean!

At check-in which I was the little late. They had to wait for my room to finish being cleaned. Which should have been done by the time check-in was available. The room is very worn and outdated carpet. Needs to be replaced, ceiling tiles or broken and missing? And disgusting for what I paid, I expected a lot more. Doesn't even have many fridges anymore. What's going on? Eighties called and wants their room back serious need of upgrades

Rooms had peeling wallpaper. Holes in doors. Shower had no hot water. Black mold in bathroom.Tears in hallway carpet. Only 1 working elevator that stopped working on 2nd day. Elevator was filthy, railings in elevator were ripped off wall.The hotel front desk supervisor Jaden had no idea that elevators were not working.. Missing fire extinguishers in hallways. Horrible waitress service. Concrete stairs outside to upper parking lot were crumbling. Dirty common areas. Staff that is unfriendly and uncaring to guests and their needs. Spent a lot of money for a literal ghetto trashed hotel. Don't waste your time or money here.

Elevators rarely work, “hot” water took 10 mins to barely get a little warm. Bathrooms and rooms a severely outdated and nasty! It’s definitely the bottom of the bottom in wendover and has been going downhill bad for the last couple years, and charging top room rates! Time to find a new place to stay and gamble

The main issues where that the place looks bad. The wallpaper is peeling off the walls, their are broken baseboards, the toilet wouldn't flush, and the food options aren't great. But it was inexpensive, the gambling is fun, the starbucks is nice, and there is a gorgeous man-made rain forest in the middle of the hotel that is very calming with zen ambiance. Over all, not a horrible experience, but you get what you pay for.

It was terrible. Made a reservation with Expedia and when we got to the casino they had no idea what we were talking about. So we had to pay for a whole new reservation and not just the casino took my husbands money but so did Expedia and we have don’t know if we will see that money. I won’t ever go back to Wendover. Worst experience ever!

Our room was so gross i didn't want to take off my shoes. The door was clearly broken into and the room reaked off cigarettes. The tv didn't work, not a single plug worked. Even the lamp cord wouldn't stay in the plug in the wall. I felt unsafe as i wasnt sure if the door was stable or not.

Place is way out dated. They charge a resort but yet have not entertainment of a resort. Rooms are out dated, beat down, no mini fridges. Front desk will put you on hold forever when walk down to talk to them nobody is around. A lot of money for what you get.

Tired and a bit worn

Had to find a quick night stay during a snow storm and icy roads. Booked the king suite with jetted tub in room. The hotel has seen better days. I never did sit down in the room chairs, they looked extra rough and scuzzy. Property needs an update for sure. But perhaps most people staying here are just drunk gamblers?

So I paid 225.00 for a room for one night and literally got stuck in the dam elevator it was scary and not fun!!!! Like how does this even happen. I mean dang thats insane they don’t even offer any type of compensation either.. and I feel that they should have but it is what it is I won’t purchase another room at this hotel I’ll chose one of the other ones next time were I can feel safe!!
