Golfing, swimming and relaxation await...Black Lab Lodge is the perfect, private location for your next vacation - whether it is with the family, a guys golf week or girls retreat you are sure to recreate and relax by Lake Sequoia.

The fully furnished and equipped lodge has a great room with fantastic views of Lake Sequoia, through two stories of glass. This Winter we have been busy, with the installation of new siding and an expanded deck. The Great Room now has beautiful new LVP flooring and offers a couch, two recliners, glider and dining table, there is a Bedroom has a King size bed, and a newly renovated Master Bath. Upstairs provides two bedrooms, and full bath. Bedroom #2 provides a King size bed. Bedroom #3 is our Bunk Room, and provides two new Bunk beds with Twin over Full mattresses. The twin top bunk beds were added with kids in mind , 6 years or older, with a maximum weight recommended at 180 lb . There is also a Queen Air Mattress in the large bedroom closet that you can inflate to accommodate another guest or two. Also there is a Pack N Play, for your little one. The lodge has a full size washer and dryer.

The newly expanded, wrap around deck, with landscape lighting, has a charcoal grill and plenty of seating with new Polywood furniture, including a table that seats 6, overlooking the lake to enjoy the perfect North Carolina weather. The lodge has its own private dock and lakefront footage.

Seven Lakes is a premier, private residential golf community nestled among the stately pines and rolling terrain of North Carolina's Sandhills region. The gated community offers spring-fed lakes for swimming, fishing, tennis and basketball courts, and playground.

Seven Lakes has two 18-hole semiprivate golf courses, Seven Lakes CC and Beacon Ridge CC. Seven Lakes Country Club has earned the Sandhills Golf Assoc. 'Course of The Year' 2010, 2011 and 2012. Additionally, there are well over 40 golf courses in the area including the famous Pinehurst #2. Black Lab Lodge also has an arrangement with Seven Lakes Country Club for discounted green fees, including the cart. Please contact the pro shop for tee times and details, and be sure to tell them that you're renting at Black Lab Lodge.

Seven Lakes Health & Fitness Center within Seven Lakes N offers daily and weekly memberships (please call for updated pricing). The Fitness Center offers: Nautilus Machines, Cardiovascular Equipment, Jacuzzi, Free Weights and Indoor Heated Swimming Pool.

In the warmer months, you may float your days away on Lake Sequoia with or without a beverage in hand. Guests may use our canoe and/or kayaks (with signed waiver) or you are welcome to bring your own non-motorized water toys including rafts and kayaks.

Black Lab Lodge is close to Pinehurst Area Golf, Seagrove Pottery, Pinehurst and Southern Pines. Pinehurst's charm and quaint shops and restaurants await your visit, and a must stop is the broad veranda of the Carolina Hotel, where you can rock a little time away before enjoying dinner at the Carolina Dining Room or the Ryder Cup Lounge.

Whether you are there to golf, swim, fish, play tennis, relax on the deck or waterfront patio, with a good book or enjoy the renowned Seagrove Pottery of the Sandhills -- there is plenty to do in Seven Lakes.

    This was such a peaceful location and lovely getaway for our family. We enjoyed the various levels of outdoor seating and using the kayaks. It was so helpful for my elderly mother to have a master with walk-in shower on the first floor. The lodge had all of the comforts of a home away from home. Thank you!

    This was my second time staying here, and I’m sure I will be staying here again. My parents live in the neighborhood and when we have lots of relatives coming down, this is the perfect place to stay for extra bedrooms. It has everything we need and we love looking out at the lake from the beautiful deck.

    Such a great property! The morning views of the lake from the new deck were breathtaking. Golf at Seven Lakes was fun. House is pretty close to Pinehurst, we visited the village a few times. Fantastic property and easy to book. Highly recommend.

    The house was as advertised with a great location on the lake. The swimming spots weren’t overly crowded and they were clean. The kids enjoyed going out in the kayaks/canoe and fishing off the dock. Would recommend for families looking for a lake getaway!

    My siblings and significant others gathered at the cabin for the weekend. All of us had stayed there before, as our sister lives nearby. As always, we find it clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The new deck was a great addition and we took full advantage of it! We are grateful to have such a lovely place.

    This is the only property inside Seven Lakes. The house is dated with dark wood and paneling. The kitchen is VERY small and dated! The deck and dock and lake location is very nice. We provided feedback to the hosts. The hosts were very responsive.

    Relaxing lakeside getaway

    Long weekend visiting extended family in NC. We thoroughly enjoyed this property especially the ample outdoor space. Morning coffee on the porch as the sun rose, paddling around the lake during the day, relaxing evenings... a great stay. The house is older but was meticulously clean. Would stay again.

    Lovely Lake Get-Away

    We spent the weekend at the Black Lab Lodge and felt like we stepped away into nature. The house was lovely and well appointed, the deck and dock were welcoming and relaxing, and the lake view couldn’t be beat. We are looking forward to coming back soon!
