We really enjoyed our stay at Placemark Balleston. The room was large, clean, comfortable, well-laid out and contained all the amenities we needed. There were many restaurants in the area and the metro line was an easy way to access the Smithsonian. The staff were friendly and helpful. We also used the gym facilities and found them clean, well stocked with equipment and the exercise machines wwere varied and all working. This is definitely a place we recommend and would stay in again if we go back to Washington.

Apartment was clean and desk staff very welcoming. Overall, very good property but a few things could enhance the stay. There should be enough plates, cups and flatware to avoid having to wash after single meal. A hairdryer in each bathroom would be nice. Towel rods or hooks are also needed in each bath. Small items but, when combined, made the stay a little less pleasant.

Would highly recommend!
The space was impeccable! I loved the view, the unit was comfortable, clean and cozy. I loved the staff at the front desk, they were very friendly and professional, even gave me tips of some things to do in the area! The only cons I have are the cleaning crew was a little robust, they didn't knock or announce presence before attempting to enter, that could be because of the language barrier. Also there was no security latch on the door, so no extra security. Something that I would have appreciated being that I was tracking alone. The location placement is perfect, plenty of things to do in just 10-20 travel time.
