We enjoyed Hotel and Gasthaus Lowen very much. Booking the hotel was easy and the communication from the hotel to us was excellent. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful and taking the train into Freiburg was very easy and made our time lass stressful as we didn't need to worry about driving. Our room was well equipped, comfortable and quiet. It was the ideal place for us to stay as visited the Christmas market in Freiburg.

Quiet and good location

Lots of free parking, Good food in restaurant but any good one only 5 mins walk away. Friendly staff and an ideal location to explore the area.

It was all right nothing special.

The hotel was clean, food good but restaurant closed on Sunday. The bedroom was stark, no view from the window apart from the sky; there were no pictures or any colour. The staff were pleasant.

Breakfast is wonderful!

Last minute reservation for a hotel close to Freiburg for one night. Very nice hotel. Simple, clean, comfortable room. The breakfast is above average! We really enjoyed it. The hotel staff are very friendly.

Fijne en rustige accommodatie! Voor iedereen die het Zwarte Woud wil ontdekken en in rust en stilte wil uitrusten. Wij waren op doorreis en hebben her gecombineerd met een dagje Freiburg. Ook daarvoor is de accommodatie goed geschikt, daar er een treinstation (met rechtstreekse trein naar Freiburg) zich op 5 min. loopafstand zich bevindt.
