We welcome you to our luxurious Milowai ocean front condominium located along the shore of Maalaea Bay. Come experience the spirit of Aloha where you will find the best of Hawaiian living along with the relaxing comforts of being in paradise in this beautiful vacation condo. Maalaea is conveniently located between Lahaina and Kihei and an easy 20 minute drive from the Kahului airport. We have beautifully furnished and decorated this one bedroom, one-bath unit. As you enter, you are greeted with spectacular ocean views of Maalaea Bay and Haleakala. From the private Lanai, you can relax listening to the sound of the surf while you enjoy watching surfers ride the waves, turtles feeding in the bay and at night see the twinkling lights across the bay from Kihei and Wailea. Directly in front of Milowai is one of the best places to watch the whales during the winter months (December –April). The tropical landscaping, beautiful manicured grounds, an ocean front pool, and shared outdoor gas barbecue with dining area add to the wonderful ambience and relaxing atmosphere of this location.

Beautiful view from the lanai. This condo is located in a scenic, quiet area. The king bed was comfortable and the shower was fine. Towels in the unit were very nice. We couldn’t swim every day because of some bad weather, but when we did the pool was amazing. This condo is located within walking distance to a harbor and the Pacwhale center and aquarium.

It was a very nice unit. Had all that we needed for a great stay. Loved sitting on the patio and looking out on the water. And walking along the water in the mornings and seeing turtles feeding off the rocks. Beach at the end of the street was a bonus. Kei was great - responsive when we asked questions. The condo complex and location itself was what made the stay worthwhile. Ideal location to explore by foot and driving the southern part of Maui and Lahaina. Easy access to the ocean from the condo complex was amazing. Though would advise future guests to communicate directly via Vrbo with the host as that has the best follow-up (i.e. use vrbo messaging vs any email or phone number provided). Also, the lodging price only includes 1 day of toilet, so be prepared to buy your own if you're staying for longer. (Note: my review would be 3.5 stars if half stars were possible.)

The stay was fine. My issues were with the VRBO person I was trying to deal with. Not only was there a language issue, I had no contact with my hosts because VRBO took four days to respond to my request to fix my email issue and why my booked stays were not showing up under my new email. The only good thing was the helpline person I dealt with did give me the number of the property manager so I could get the check-in info.
