The location is close to the airport. The Hotel grounds are cute and fun… the actual room is dated but fine for a low budget room. The beach is not as “pretty” as the pictures- it is right beside an industrial park dock. But for a low budget option it was fine. The restaurant attached to the hotel is not my favorite. Bit there is an amazing bakery/ coffee place down the street!!!

Initially we were placed in one of the smaller/older rooms. When we pointed out that it was not the room booked, the staff was quite accommodating and placed us in the larger rennovated room. This review asked how we liked the free breakfast, there was no free breakfast.

DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE off of the pictures on Expedia. They are completely misleading. The pictures you see are the renovated rooms in a back building facing the highway. We checked in, went to our room, it was outdated and smelled. We tried to get refunded to go somewhere else, they wouldn’t refund my money. So now I have to battle with Expedia to get red for this. I mean, the money for this room for two nights?? Absolutely ridiculous, also the area is a terrible area.

Make sure you get a refurbished room. Our first room was not. It was horrible the a/c hanging out of the wall was moldy. They were very nice and moved us to a beautiful room. Old building fine for a night. Not a destination. People were very accommodating and nice.

Beds very uncomfortable. Pictures that are on website nothing like it. Our room keys never worked we always had to go to the front desk it was the worst experience. Rooms in this hotel looked worst than a motel 6 . I highly recommend not to go here !!!!!

Older hotel but kept it up nice. Rooms were outdated but not horrible. Nice pool area with cabanas and firepits for the evenings. Right on the beach (bay). Close to airport and lots of shopping and food. Restaurant in the hotel was great with large portions reasonably priced. Nice staff.

Excellent stay – perfect Maui getaway! We had an amazing 10-day stay at Maui Seaside Hotel from December 20-30, and it was the ideal base for our Hawaiian holiday adventure! The harborfront location on Kahului Bay is fantastic – direct access to the sandy beach for morning walks and relaxing by the waves, plus stunning ocean views from our room’s private balcony. The well-maintained grounds with tropical landscaping made it feel like a true island escape. We loved the amenities: • Refreshing outdoor swimming pool (perfect for cooling off after a day exploring) • On-site Tante’s Island Cuisine restaurant (delicious Hawaiian-inspired meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner – we especially enjoyed the local flavors and craft cocktails) • Complimentary high-speed WiFi throughout the property • Free roundtrip airport shuttle (so convenient arriving and departing!) • Beach/pool towels and chairs • Laundry facilities The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable with modern touches, great air conditioning, and everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were outstanding – incredibly friendly, helpful, and full of aloha spirit, always ready with tips for the best spots on the island. This hotel offered incredible value with its central location (easy drives to Road to Hana, Haleakala, and more) and thoughtful perks. It made our trip truly memorable and stress-free.
