Wairakei Resort Taupo by Accor: Family-friendly hotel with free WiFi and free parking. Located in the mountains.
Accor took over the property last year and clearly it needs alot of refurbishment. However the room was very comfortable, bed was good, it is in a good location and was good value for money.

Although we enjoyed the lake view from our room it was small and without air conditioning. The fan was noisy as well as the music from the restaurant.
