This spacious lodge is set on a delightful holiday park just outside St Merryn and enjoys far-reaching views across the Cornish countryside. The property welcomes six guests and is perfect for large families, with a sociable, open-plan layout and a gorgeous hot tub to relax in after a day of adventure. You’ll be just 5.5 miles from the picturesque harbour town of Padstow and nearby family attractions include Camel Creek Adventure Park (3.5 miles) and Newquay Zoo (15 miles).

The holiday retreat is bright and inviting, with a neutral colour scheme and large windows letting in plenty of natural light. The main living space is an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, where you can whip up tasty feasts as you admire the countryside views, and gather around the large, wooden dining table for mealtimes as a group. In the evenings, get cosy in the lounge area, snuggled up on the sofa as you watch a movie on the Smart TV. When day turns to night, choose between two inviting double bedrooms or a bunk bedroom that’s ideal for younger children. All of the bedrooms have Smart TVs. One of the double bedrooms has an en-suite shower room and there’s also a refreshing family bathroom. Outside, soak up the fresh, Cornish air on your enclosed terrace. Share an al fresco supper in summer months or relax with a glass of bubbly in the fabulous hot tub. There is a shared BBQ available on site and grassy areas where children can play, along with a shop and seasonal pub. Private parking is available for two cars.

St Merryn (2 miles) is a pretty village with a selection of independent shops and eateries. The coastline around St Merryn is renowned for its spectacular beaches, highlights of which include Constantine Bay, Harlyn Bay, and Porthcothan, all within 3 miles of the holiday home. You can join the dramatic South West Coast Path 3 miles from the lodge, and you’ll also find some beautiful walks to explore at Trevose Head (4 miles). Further afield, spend the day exploring the lively, surfing town of Newquay, 15 miles away.
