Even though we stay in the area about twice a year and have for about 3 decades we had never stayed at this motel. However we found at the to be very clean comfortable kept up well. This may be our new go to for family visits.

The toilet seat was all beat up and peeling. Gross like a gas station toilet seat. Not acceptable for a $100/day hotel room and especially Holiday Inn. I told the front desk but this should have been flagged by the cleaning staff and remedied immediately. The dining area always had crumbs too and not cleaned continuously. This is a highly visible area and poor indicator of cleanliness.

Clean room Notification of why the electricity was out would’ve been nice. Also, when I checked out, the staff member did not even offer to deduct my night without electricity (or air conditioning or CPAP for my husband) from the bill. Not very good customer service.
