Too many beds

We booked a double room 4 months ago and we're given a room with beds for 4 we were told that was the only one they had and very dismissive suggesting it was good to have the extra beds at no extra cost. I pushed back and eventually was given a double room by a more senior staff member.

Was fine for one night. Excellent welcome at reception from the extremely helpful Lorenzo. INTERNET was down and one broken lift, leaving only one - observed staff member being extremely rude to another guest shouting at them when they understandably enquired about the INTERNET. Breakfast really good quality but after coach parties departed fruit and yoghurts not replenished leaving little for other guests.

I booked a room for two adults and a 12-year-old child, but the hotel claimed the reservation was for two adults and an infant. I clearly informed them of this mistake on the first day, yet was still charged an extra €210 for a triple room, plus €36 in tourist tax. The booking error was made by Expedia, but the hotel refused to show any flexibility or accountability, even with proof. The situation was handled with little empathy or effort to support the guest. Very disappointing experience

Shame I was only there 1 night

Wish I had been there longer than 1 night. Good location, quiet on outskirts of verona which bus stops close by. Nice breakfast, big comfy room, with bed side lamps.
