We tried to call Wotif as the description shows a balcony and when you book the room it doesn't say if it does or doesn’t have a balcony we were so disappointed as all the photos look like the room type had a balcony or a view There is no roof top as mentioned. The staff were very rude had snickering while we sorted things out and smoking outside the entrance of the hotel. So many staff but no services The only thing that was fantastic was the location we felt badly mislead on the rooms and the views from Wotif or the hotel who ever markets that very over priced. Fantastic location, really easy to walk everywhere. Rooms are an ok size. Housekeeping could be better. We had an already opened, partly used bottle of water on the room and the shampoo in the shower was almost empty so I’m glad I had my own as it ran out. Breakfast room has a nice view but staff vary. It was ok one day but the second day they had run out of everything and anything seemed like a lot of effort for the lad working, even though there was only 4 tables of 2 people on there. I would recommend the hotel based on the location but wouldn’t put it as more than 3 star.

Loved the location, the cleanliness and the staff was absolutely fantastic especially Carolina. She really went of her way to accomodate us during our stay. She gave excellent tips for getting around Venice, food recommendations and things to do. Please ensure you recognize her, you are very lucky to have her on your staff. She is someone you need to promote to the ranks of management.

Could not sleep until after midnight because there was a karaoke right under my windows. If you like lots of noise and listen to bad singing at night instead of resting look no further. The ac/heater did not work. it did not matter what temperature I set it for, it stayed the same. Not sure why have it if you are not letting your patrons to set it to the temperature of their comfort. End result-my room was very cold and taking shower was super uncomfortable The breakfast is limited but this is not the worst. The breakfast room was supposed to open at 7:15 am (or so, don't remember the exact time.) But the lady that worked there did not open it until good 15-20 minutes late. Not acceptable. Not worth the price I paid at all.

We recently stayed here and found the experience to be just okay. The room was functional but showed noticeable signs of wear and tear. Although the canal view is a nice touch, the lack of soundproofing means it can get quite noisy, especially at night. The rate we paid was comparable to 5-star hotels like the NH Collection in Rome or 4-star options like the Milu Hotel in Florence, but unfortunately, the quality didn’t match up. A small example: complimentary bottled water was only provided on the first night, and there was an extra charge for any additional bottles. We ended up buying our own from a nearby supermarket. Breakfast was included, but the offering was fairly average in terms of variety and quality. The real highlight of our stay was the staff. Both the front desk and breakfast team were consistently friendly and welcoming, which helped improve our overall impression.

A truly wonderful hotel on the Grande Canal. Absolutely beautiful views and the hotel staff were wonderful. Everything about this hotel is perfect for a wonderful stay in Venice.

We loved the location of this hotel, so close to the Rialto Bridge and a short walk to the St Marks Square. The staff are so lovely and helpful. The only thing is there is a piano bar underneath the hotel, so if you sleep lightly be aware. The breakfast was nice and if you let them know in advance they offer Gluten free and Vegetarian options.

For the cost of the room being a deluxe with canal view, it was disappointing that the room had to be accessed through the breakfast area. Other guests could be heard outside of our room and it was uncomfortable to open our door and have other guests eating their breakfast sitting at tables and peer into our room. Also odd that there no bathroom amenities such as lotion. The receptionist was first class and very helpful.

We booked the double deluxe with the canal view. We were on the second floor near the breakfast room, which was weird at first. It has a double door, so you don’t hear as many noises as you would think. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were hard. No AC but the most modern conveniences of home so far. We would stay here again. The proximity to the Rialto bridge can’t be beat!
