Welcome to A Shore Thing, a rustic and cozy cabin perched above a peaceful ocean inlet in Ucluelet. Surrounded by towering spruce trees and the sounds of the sea, this thoughtfully curated retreat offers the perfect landing pad after a day of exploring the wild West Coast. With space to sleep up to six guests, it is an ideal getaway for families or friends gathering to experience the beauty of the coast together.
Inside, the cabin is warm and inviting, with a comfortable living area designed for relaxing evenings. Curl up by the fireplace, play a board game, or settle in with a good book after a day spent on the trails or at the beach. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals at home, making it easy to gather around the table and share stories from the day’s adventures.
The layout offers comfort and privacy for groups, with two bathrooms that each have their own shower and are located on separate levels. A staircase leads to the upstairs bedroom, while one of the bedrooms features two queen beds, making it perfect for families or friends travelling together.
Outside, you will find two peaceful decks to enjoy the surrounding nature. The covered lower deck is perfect for outdoor meals and lingering conversations, while the upper deck, located off one of the bedrooms, offers a quiet place to sip your morning coffee beneath the forest canopy, often with eagles soaring overhead.
A Shore Thing is perfectly located for exploring some of Ucluelet’s most beautiful coastal spots. Step outside and stroll to Spring Cove Interpretive Trail, wander down to Terrace Beach, or explore the spectacular Wild Pacific Trail and its famous Lighthouse Loop Trail.
