Absolutely wonderful accommodation. This place is newly renovated and gorgeous. Everything is pristinely clean and new. The staff are exceptional….. so helpful and welcoming. If you’re going to Twizel and looking for a place to stay you should come here. You won’t be sorry!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Alps motel. Comfortable, modern, and clean facilities located at a walkable distance to the quaint town centre and only a 45-minute drive from Mt Cook Village (super easily accessible). Rob was really helpful at check-in. Would definitely recommend the Alps Motel!

Wow! I would have thought “luxury motel” was an oxymoron but that’s how I would describe the Alps Motel. It’s by far the nicest motel I’ve ever stayed in. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was firm and yet comfortable. The kitchenette and bathroom were fully updated. The location is a quick walk to a small area that includes a market, shops, restaurants, and a playground. The Alps Motel was the perfect base for us as we hiked the Mount Aoraki area, especially since we could use brand new appliances to cook meals and do our laundry. Highly recommended.
