I didn’t like that only the coffee shop was open before 4p. People are traveling for all reasons at all times, at least having one bar, whether the rooftop or lobby, open before 4p would be great. Otherwise, very nice and zero other complaints.

What a beautiful place We flew in town for the Paul macartney show Your roof top bar was shut down when we got to the hotel Your 1925 bar had one bartender who was doing his best I went into the front desk room to ask why the upstairs bar was closed and the gentleman would not stop reading his magazine to even look up and acknowledge me The Mayo itself is an elegant old place

No lighting except lamps by beds, very dark. Shower floor grout needed to be scrubbed, looked moldy. The bathroom sink drained very slow. No hand soap at all!!! The horizontal shower sprays were difficult to turn off. Was expecting so much more from the Mayo. Would never stay again. The check-in guy was no help with good restaurants nearby. The bartender and hostess at 1925 was very nice and very helpful.
