Terrible experience

Tried to check in at 2pm after calling at 9am and confirming I could checking in at 2 pm instead of 4 pm due to driving 2 hours. Upon arrival, was told I had to wait until 3, waited until 3 and was not able to check in still. Was guaranteed a room after return from festival and checked in my luggage. Upon arrival from festival at 1am, was told there is no room available and would have to go to another hotel. Other hotel that was contacted did not have any rooms. Will not use hotels.com or Hilton again. Wish I had known ahead of time I would not have a room, despite booking a room two weeks in advance and confirming day of stay.

For the amount I paid for the convenience of being close to the venue I’m terribly disappointed! Getting charged for 200$ twice and not to mention the customer service at the front desk is terrible we had to settle for a king size bed when I requested a queen bed of 2 and we had to take it because what else were we supposed to do last minute they need to get stuff together for the pay and all the stuff it cost. I was so disappointed! Also tried to call to ask about my 2 extra charges and I got told she has a line and can’t talk to me. We left the place very clean nothing broken we were only there to sleep and I drove 8 hours for this! I rather of stayed next door to la Quinta inn they would been a better option.

Upon checking in they told me my room was not available anymore because they ran out. If I made the reservation for a specific room that s what I should get. So they gave me a smaller room for the same price. Still waiting for my price difference . My family had a horrible night because we did not fit. The hallway was freezing and the carpet was wet. The parking garage was a hassle to get in and out of. Very dirty location. Would not recommend it. 0/0

Booked a king room payed in advance showed up and they gave us a queen with out even telling us got to the room and realized it wasn’t what we payed for had to take our stuff all the way back down and they tell us they sold out of kings and there is nothing they would do about it. Around 2 in the morning the first night the ac cover falls off the way and bangs into the table causing an extremely loud noise that woke us up im panic. Hotel keys wouldn’t work in the parking garage would have to call and wait sometimes up to 10 minutes to get out of the garage. Overall worst stay I’ve ever had will never go back to this hotel or any other double tree for that matter.

The room was nice, and clean. Comfy bed, and within walking distance of the arts district, and bok center. I usually stay at the Mayo, but for the price DoubleTree is hard to beat! The free cookies help 😁
