Scary and broken down.

First thing I noticed when we arrived was a pile of cat food on the sidewalk and a stray cat eating it. Check in was quick and easy. When we arrived at our non-smoking rooms they both reeked of heavy smoke. There was no non-smoking signs anywhere and I suspect that they just change them from smoking to non-smoking. The next two rooms they gave us did smell better, but there were cigarette burns on the covers, the sink was cracked, the bathtub faucet was hanging out of the wall, what appeared to be blood on the ceiling, no coffee maker (but all the stuff to make coffee). The fences around the property are covered with barbed wire. The only options for breakfast were waffles or cold cereal. The whole place felt old, broken, and dangerous. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The room had trash in the waste basket and on surfaces. Animal hair everywhere, even on the lamp shades. Hair on the sheets. Long hair in the ice bucket and the most unsettling was a used towel in the bathroom.

Check in with Philip was easy and fast. He was great. Unfortunately, my 20 yr old dog fell in the creek behind the motel and I ended up having to wade in to get her. I left a fair amount of mud in the room--sorry. Thanks for the good stay.
